This frother has great power and so far is standing up to our use. The other one lasted a couple of years before the metal stick part fell off right after my husband changed the batteries. Coincidence? I think not! But, I'd already had one in our stock so we'd be ready when it died. We are using the newer one and it is more powerful than the first one, so we have another back in stock again. We are more health conscious than most so we have organic coffee and before pouring into the cup, we add coconut oil powder, C8 MCT Oil Powder, powdered mushrooms, and collagen. This mixes it up in seconds. We also enjoy the top of the main unit being the spin controller. It's so easy to put our thumb on top and push in spurts. I could not use one that had an on/off switch. Spurts work best for coffee or it will go up the sides and over, so we froth up 1/3 cup approx. and then add the rest after the spurts. Enjoy!

I’ve been using frothers for years. This one couldn’t blend or froth anything. It basically just whirled the milk around in a circle leaving the powders in huge, gross lumps. There was no power behind the whirl. The on switch is difficult to use. I broke both my hands earlier this year so have a deficit but the switch is oddly triggered and difficult to hold down. The first battery was almost impossible to put in its place. I wish I had followed my initial instinct and returned it based on that alone. Instead, my hubs got rid of the box so now it’s mine. Ug. I can’t even donate it without guilt. It’s that crappy. If it matters to anyone, the box is not recyclable due to the outer covering of plastic.
