A-Premium Rear Tailgate Lift Supports Shock Struts Replacement for Honda Civic 1992-1995 Hatchback 2-PC Set

I rode for the longest with the old failed, I wish I replaced them with these when I bought my civic hatch

I really wanted to give these 5 stars based on other reviews but I simply can not. The biggest concern is that the bolt that connects to the hatch glass is too long by about 3-4mm so there is excessive play between the nut and the glass which seems very dangerous. I found a workaround where I added a couple metal washers to make up the difference and now I have a very snug fit (btw I spent about $50 on OEM Honda replacement hardware to go along with these replacement shocks).As others have stated, the shocks are very powerful and I now have to use two hands and slam my hatch shut in order for the locking mechanism to “catch”. When opening the hatch, it literally flings up like a rocket being launched into outer space.

Works great!! Really stiff just like they should be! Glad to get these for a great price! 😁 i dont have my back window falling on my head any more. Going grocrey shopping is going to be a hell of a lot easier!! Thank you i do reumend this product

A bit of a pain to install because it's so strong, but I ended up only replacing one strut bar because one of these does the job of two.

Doesn’t quick fit like OEM. I had to get washers from the hardware store to compensate for the length of threads. Still, it’s far better than the eBay set that I’ve purchased.

These were easy to install and such good quality for the price, definitely a cheap upgrade, I had failing struts and this fixed it perfect

Drop in install, loads cheaper than factory. Feels like new, should last for years. Brand X only lasted a few years.
