Adapter does not work...save your time, order from somewhere else
The adapter arrived a day early which I was super excited about but unfortunately it does not work. I attempted to use the adapter with a Cat5e cable to connect to the console ports of my routers and switches in my home lab but I received no connection using PuTTY. I tried multiple Ethernet cables that I know work in case it was a wire issue and also tested the connection with my Cisco console cable (which worked). I was really looking forward to this adapter as this would allow me to access the console port on all my devices without having switch the console cable every time (just switch the cable plugged into the adapter), very disappointing.

Incorrect Pinout. Does not match picture.
1. "Compatible with most routers on the market, such as Cisco and TPlink etc" It is not. Incorrect pinout. 2. Tested for continuity with multimeter, Pinout does not match picture. Actual pinout is (DB9 Female - RJ45 Female) 1-8, 2--2, 3-1, 4-7, 5-6, 6-5, 7-3, 8-4, 9-x.
