I'm glad I found this alternative to Word, after my Word document I had been working on so long suddenly became corrupted and inaccessible due to "whitespaces" ("too many" spaces in the document), and Microsoft discontinued updates and wiped my Office software completely from my computer following an update.There are just a couple features I wish it had in common with Word, but for the price, I'm already over it. On the other hand, I prefer some of its features over Word. Plus I like the fact that now that I own several laptops, I can install it on all of them with no restrictions.

The display says: "100% compatible with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint." IT IS NOT.Contemporary versions of MS Word have the capability to convert PDF files and Word Perfect files into MS Word and those files can be edited and returned to various formats. This program does not have that ability. When opening a Word Perfect or PDF document the Apache Open Office can not properly display the document therefore editing is not possible. SO if you want a low cost program that is SOMEWHAT compatible with older versions of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint this may be what you are looking for, but if you want a series of programs that are 100% compatible with MS Office suite, this is not the productd for you. Office Suite 2019 CD is easy to install...It open my Microsoft documents...I need to learn more about how to use it to be able to edit my documents..But It does everything I need to create new docs or use already created from my downloaded USB’s ...I would recommend buy this before spending all that money on Microsoft worlds or word..I did not have Microsoft installed on my new computer ..I understand from other reviews if you do it works better to delete your other Microsoft works..I do not see why you would have to do that as it is a new install and is not incorporated in Microsoft..

I bought this because they offer a version for my phone and I thought it would transfer documents better. It does but I enjoy the simplicity of the program yet how it can produce very good documents.

I love this cd. I installed it, followed step by step instructions, it was so nice and easy to do... sonething im usually not good doing,I hate bothering my son for everything.... but I did it, its perfect, just like Microsoft Word... thank-you.

This is exactly what I hoped it would be. Had its predecessor before and hoped for a product just as good and it is. Perfect substitute for Microsoft Word.
