I bought this for my teen son who plays Lacrosse. Before buying it he had tried all sorts of protective supporters like a jockstrap, tight girdle, and even putting it directly into his underwear. Each supporter he tried came up short for one reason or another. The jockstrap was very uncomfortable, the legs on the girdle road up and the cup shifted when running, and putting it in his underwear was just a bad idea. In his opinion, the perfect supporter would be one that was not restricting around his legs and held his cup securely in place. This item is more of a shorts-style supporter made for hockey players and it checked all the boxes for what my son wanted. He said that it is very comfortable and supportive and after wearing it daily for practice/games it has held up very well. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a comfortable protective cup holder.

Good shorts fit perfectly, will try next week

These replaced my previous SD, love them in terms of fit and comfort. At comfortable as they can be and this one is noticeably cooler (temperature) than my previous compression style. I highly recommend them for anyone who prefers that. Hardly even notice these are on.

Cup hangs too low

My son is in martial arts. He doesn't like jock straps or the briefs with the cup. I found this product. I know it's like a jock strap in shorts. But I'm a girl, what do I know. He has been very happy with this product. I will be using it again.

I have a child who is very skinny and tall. I was worried these were going to be too big in the waist for him, but they fit him perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase. I also heard from other hockey families that shock doctor is the way to go. I will definitely order this again as he gets older.

my son reported that this cup was the comfiest he’s tried. Since he has 2-3 ice hockey practices a week that's super important. We plan to purchase at least one more pair of these shorts.Please note these shorts are mesh and very “see-through” so if you're helping your young hockey player get dressed be advised that you'll want another layer or some privacy for getting out of sweats and into hockey gear.

My 15 year old son (5’5” and 130 pounds) said they are comfortable and the hockey socks attach well to the Velcro.
