Armacost Lighting 24-Watt Universal Dimmable 12V DC LED Driver TRIAC 840240

Wow an LED driver / power supply that actually dims the LEDs!!! I thought there was something wrong with my LEDs or dimmer as I tried two different PLUSPOE dimmers that did not actually dim anything and also buzzed. This driver actually works, and works well. I am using the 12v/24watt one to drive 8x half moon 12v LED stair lights. I am also using a Leviton 6674 dimmer in the wall. There is no switching noise from this driver, the construction is solid and the dimming is smooth without flicker. Completely worth the higher price than non certified drivers. The only thing that was odd is that it did not come with a power cord. The lack of a power cord was not a big deal as I had one laying around, but I could see it bothering other people. I have a light switch controlling half of a receptacle in low voltage box, so I did need one.

Excellent product. Works well will with a Lutron wall switch dimmer, for an otherwise cheap set of LED strip lighting found here on Amazon. It came with a power cord attached, which I did not expect, but is great. It was easy to cut one of the cords leading to my (on/off only) led lights, strip the wires from one end, and attach to the screw-down terminals using a small screwdriver...to attach the power supply to the LED strip. Worked great the first time. I like that it has ETL/Intertek certification, which means it has undergone safety testing, unlike a lot of the other cheap Chinese equivalents. Where the wires attach, there is good clamp-down strain relief, which adds another element of safety probably required for ETL. I paid a lot more than some of the cheap dimmers, but I got a quality product and piece of mind that my house won't burn down...well worth the price.

Very easy to install. I hard wired the power pack and also installed a dimmer switch. Works perfectly with no humming. Great product.

The transformer works fine and I needed its slimness. Had to melt away some of the plastic AC clamp down molded into the case in order to be able to close lid over standard US AC house wire.

Incredible quality. I rarely leave reviews and am very (very) particular though the Armacost LED pucks and dimmer module are impressive enough to warrant a five star review. Packaging, build quality, product consistency, legible instructions...all top notch. Cost is higher than plastic competition and worth every penny - time will tell the reliability story but all signs point to this being a great product line. Well done Armacost!

Item works fine. I wanted to add a "heads up" regarding the End Covers on the LED driver itself. This is a very straight forward install so I did not review the instructions (at first). When I couldn't get my LED's to light up , I thought the driver was defective. I even tested it with a DVOM and a 12v test light : There seemed to be no power coming out of the 12V end of the driver! Those are NOT terminal screws / connections on the end covers!!!! Those screws are ONLY to fasten on the end covers; and the electrical connections are Under those covers!!! (as shown in the instruction sheet). It sure fooled me!

This has been installed in an attic for 4 years now with now power issues to the shower LED lighting

I have these in all my undercounting lighting. They work great and support full 0-100% dimming range, no flickers. I use them with Zooz Zen77 V2 Z-Wave dimmers (MOSFET, trailing edge).

I have used these drivers in about 4 applications now and have worked beautifully every time. Full dimming range with silent operation. You get what you pay for with these drivers. Will use again.

I have purchased this transformer to connect a set of cabinet lights to the Insteon controlled outlet 2472 (dimmer outlet). It only works with dimmable LEDs so the standard transformer did not work. This transformer did fit the description of what I needed. I also liked the fact that I could find this transformer on the manufacturer's website and see the detailed description. Including the fact that it works with both trailing and leading edge dimmers. I was pleased that with this transformer working perfectly out of the box with this dimmer and my LED strips. My only wish is that the transformer would come with a standard cable and the typical LED round connector.
