I just got the purse, so I don't know about durability yet. The purse is adorable. It's the perfect size. I wouldn't call it small, but it's definitely not a big purse. It's just the right size in my opinion. When I purchased it, I was worried about the size so I've included some pictures to show what will fit. I've got a pen, eye drops, gum, mints, two pill bottles, eos chap stick, carmex, check book, bigger zipper wallet, inhaler, little hair brush, and some small odds stuff in the inside zipper. I think my keys will fit on top just fine.

Update!! So it has now been 2 years since I have owned this bag and I am still just as happy as the day I purchased it. It is still just as durable and literally the only wear and tear is super minor scuffing on the corners where the strap has rested all of these years. As I said below, I am not gentle with purses and I use it everyday. I still can’t believe how long this thing has lasted. I am attaching “after 2 year” photos after the 5th photo. Hope this helps! Also, after 2 years I STILL get compliments on it! Couldn’t be happier. :)I ordered this bag about 6 months ago and have nothing to complain about it. I was skeptical at first after reading some of the comments about the faux leather peeling, but so far have not had that issue. I find this bag to be quite durable (I am not very gentle with purses) and it handles getting tossed around and filled up with belongings with no problem. The straps and the fastener are also very durable and well made and fun to close. If you want a purse that looks great and lasts, this is the one. I have never had so many compliments on an item in my life. Random strangers will stop me in the store and ask where I got it and are surprised at the price. It will fit a small tablet/notebook and still have room for cellphone and other small belongings. The bag is true to color as well and I was super pleased when it arrived that it looked just as sharp as it did online. I don't normally write reviews for products, but I had to share how wonderful owning this bag has been so far. :)(Pictures are of now, six months after purchase).

For me, this is the perfect bag! I'm a minimalist, so my one goal was to find a cute satchel-type purse that can fit a book and my few essentials. The measurements worked out, since most hardcover books are 11" or shorter. I can fit any size paperback and almost any size standard hardcover, along with a small wallet, keys, iPod, phone, gum and lip gloss in the inner pocket, and even my little camera. The bag isn't very flexible, so depending on the size of the book it can be a tight squeeze to fit my camera, but one book fits perfectly in the middle section. Mission accomplished! BUT, if you are looking for a satchel/briefcase-type bag for work or school, you will definitely want to choose something that's a couple inches bigger all around, and has more depth to fit multiple books or papers. I took some pics of the bag with books for size reference. It is also the perfect size for my 7-inch Kindle. This bag is super cute, and I love wearing it! Looks like something out of Harry Potter :-)

I bought this handbag to go with a pair of tan, t-strap, wedge-heeled Mary Janes. I'm very pleased with how well the handbag goes with those shoes. It's a great look and the price was right, for sure, to complete the retro look I'm trying to achieve. It's a very attractive handbag. The only problem I envision is with the buckle closure. This will be somewhat inconvenient.

This bag is super cute, a great size, and excellent quality. It was everything I wanted it to be except it is a pain to use because it takes time to get into it. Every time you need your phone, keys, or debit card, you have to unlock the latch and both magnetic straps. Then close the latch and both straps again. I think if you want to use this bag for something other than a purse it would work out much better. I loved the look but it just wasn't functional for my needs. I gave it to my best friend's mom.

I adore this purse. It's cute, it holds my stuff, and it seems to be made of very good material that isn't going to get ruined quickly. I've had it for a little while now and there's no damage, everything's holding together. It MIGHT be a little small if you're the type of person who wants to carry their life with them, but it fits my 7" tablet, my wallet, my phone, a jar of acetaminophen, altoids, gum, two thumb drives, ear bud headphones, keys, a travel brush, a comb, two lip glosses, emergency feminine hygiene products (2), pens (2), a couple of crystal light packs, a tiny vial of eau de toilette, and a tiny pack of microfiber cloths. Overall, it really carries a lot for being compact. I love it. :)

If you're thinking about getting this bag, do it! It has all the little vintage details that I love and it's great quality. It holds a great amount of things as well surprisingly. It's the perfect size. My only issue with it is that since i'm very short, the strap is ridiculously long so the bag hands quite low from what I would be comfortable with. I wish they had other strap sizes for people like me lol. I ended up getting a cheap leather punch tool to fix the strap length for me and now it fits perfectly! highly recommend this adorable bag.

I’ve received many compliments regarding my new bag, it does look very smart.It was smaller than I thought but that didn’t disappoint me as I loved it. I’ve added a photo which hopefully shows its size.

Beautiful and well made! Being vegetarian, I don't purchase products that are made from leather, etc. but at the same time, I don't want cheap looking stuff. This looks anything but cheap!! It is very well made and looks like real leather and feels like real leather. It is big enough to put my iPad mini inside, along with iPhone and purse, etc. but small enough to have around my shoulders and across my body without being obstructive. It looks and feels expensive.

This messenger case is even better than in pictures. Am so happy with it. Am happy with description, am vegan so don't want leather, it looks really good and is sturdy. The supplier even adds something about returns if I wasn't happy. Which is reassuring but not necessary in this case.Now going to coordinate new work outfits to match it 😁

A gorgeous bag that was bought as a present for my mother. She had been looking for a two tone handbag for over two years and when I saw this I knew it was exactly what she had been hoping to find. It is beautifully made and looks like it will last for a very long time. Perfect. Oh and the company seem to be very efficient too. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I really like this bag, however the strap broke within 2 months of buying it (bought it in Feb, broken by the end of March). I was just walking along and the bag came loose, it seems that a metal fixing disk came out so the clasp is no longer connected to the strap. Not what you want.I have managed a work around as I want to be able to use this bag, but it does make me wonder about the quality - if the strap hadn't broken I would have given this 5 stars.
