Two BEAMNOVA Hoists were installed in our boathouse ... and work like a dream

This replaced an older hoist that ran on a roller track. The old roller hardware bolted up perfectly.

I installed this hoist in mid October of 2017. Tonight, November 25, the lower supplied “Snatch Type Swivel Hook Block For Cable” pulley (used to double lift capacity), snapped apart where the bushing went through the cable sheave. The load of only 300 lbs came crashing down. Someone could have been hurt badly. The Snatch Type Swivel Hook Block was very cheaply made. See pictures.Update 12/20/2017 Seller was very concerned and responsive to my concerns. They sent me a new, upgraded “Snatch Type Swivel Hook Block” (see pic with new type sealed bearing). I upgraded my status from a one star to a four star, because of excellent customer service, and a good hoist. The hoist is a good value for the money. It is not excessively noisy, although it does make noise, as should be expected. If you purchase this item, which I would recommend, I’d just make sure that the included pulley is the upgraded version with a bolt through the center. See picture referred to in this update.

This lift is now hanging in my shed and pulls me up to the second level like nothing. This may not be for industrial standards, but at my home, it is working like a champ. I hope it lasts, just installed a few weeks ago. Will update if something goes wrong. Recommendable lift, though, good value for the money.

Didn't open box until ready to install at vacation camp and electric box is broken from unit. Terrible I cannot return because it's past 30 day return time. Guess I should have opened and inspected upon arrival. The box isn't damaged so I figured installer would open the box upon installation.

I was so happy to get this unit so quick. The first one I got I couldn't get to run. Returned it and in less than a week I had a replacement. I plugged it in where the other one was and it run. Thanks for the great replacement time. Unit is used on a handy cap lift so the great service was much appreciated. I don't think you can beat the price. Highly recommend.

Product seemed a little cheesy upon opening the package. But after installing it I'm very pleased that works very well and it can take the weight. I thought it was well worth the money and sure makes life easier.

Product is cheap made. Screws on wire connection stripped and loose out of the box.
