as advertised, but potentially quite uncomfortable
I've worn these out a few times- and in general quite like them. They make you look-and-feel a bit taller; not so much that people who know you notice (at least not sufficiently to comment), but enough for you to feel a little boost (figuratively and literally). But it's worth noting that the height boost is not uniform- specifically, it's almost all in the heel. Perhaps they decided that the shoes would look odd if the toes were equally raised? Anyway, the result is that you feet are at a slight forward angle- and this makes your toes feel a little squished. It's immediately noticeable, not immediately uncomfortable. But after a bit of walking around, especially if carrying things, it can become painful.I suspect one could eventually grow used to it. Women do all the time, right? But I found that after an hour or so, I was looking for excuses to sit down and slip the shoes off. I suspect trying to wear these out dancing would be a disaster.So- good for an occasion where you'll be standing occasionally and want to look good at that moment, but where you'll also be sitting most of time, or at least not wearing shoes.. Are there lots of such occasions? hmm.. I don't regret the purchase, but I suspect this will be a somewhat specialty-use item for me.

3.5 stars Adds extra ~1.5â compared to your normal shoes, good style, low quality construction
Iâve had these shoes for about a year now I think. First off Iâll mention the pros. They look nice, Iâve received several compliments on them. I really like the style, and they do add a noticeable, if negligible, amount of extra height. Theyâre also very light and have decent breathability. They feel a little bit strange to walk in at first, I feel these shoes could use a little more ankle support, they feel a little bit loose no matter how snug I make my shoelace knot. Itâs not awful as long as youâre ONLY planning on using them for simple walking. Not running, not climbing, not lifting weights or playing sports, these are purely aesthetic. The only two major dislikes I have about the shoe are:1.) The sole sucks. It is not grippy at all, wears very quickly, and the slightest bit of dust clings to the bottom to give you even LESS grip than they have out of the box. Itâs a firm, foamy, airy material with very little squish, nothing like most better quality shoes use, which have more of a firm rubber feel to them.2.) The shoelaces. They look nice, but whatever material blend theyâre made of causes them to easily to slide back and forth over itself. When you try to tie them up, youâll have a hard time making a snug knot.If they had better soles, the fit felt more secure, and the shoelaces were made of a better material, Iâd give these shoes a 4.5 rating. As it stands, my rating is a 3.5 because theyâre not too pricey (at the time of purchase a $50) and have done what they advertised while also looking nice.TLDR:These are worth the purchase if theyâre still $50 at the time of you reading this review, but ONLY if youâre using them for purely aesthetic reasons. If youâre looking for a shoe that elevates your normal height a little, and is ALSO good quality, youâll be a bit dissapointed with this shoe and it would be better to spend more money to get what youâre looking for.

Not Sure why I bought these. LOL
So this shoe claims to add 2.6â to your height. Donât get to excited. Any shoe pretty much adds 1â-2â to your height. It is a regular shoe with a very steep heal lift. My heal is barely in the shoe and as I walk, it slips upward and my heal almost comes out of the back of the shoe, nearly every step.It is a really silly gimmick and definitely not worth the money to gain another 1/2â.I would not buy again, but wanted to see what it was all about. đ

Good shoe - runs small
Great shoe overall. Just as comfortable as my under armour shoes I've been wearing for the last year and look just as clean. Definitely can feel the added height and wife noticed right away as well. I'm about 5'10 on a good day...these put me around 6 even. I also seem to feel like I have better posture when I wear them for some reason.... deducted 1 star because the shoe does run about a half size small, I ordered a 10 when I normally wear a 9 1/2 and it fits perfect.

Not best Calto shoe
Have 3 pair from Calto, 2 are leather boots, one tennis shoe. Fit on tennis shoe is not great. Shoe body has limited side and heel rigidity. 1.25-1.5" height with this shoe, less than my others. Does not feel quite like a tennis shoe when wearing at the gym. They're just ok. Might try a different model.

Not worth the discomfort
These might add a few inches to your height, but only compared to your height without shoes. When comparing against standard athletic shoes, you're only gaining maybe an inch. That extra inch isn't worth the discomfort of wearing the shoes. They are very bulky and noticeably chunky. The toe is very blunt and rounded. The sole features a lifted heel that pushes your toes into the tip of the shoe. It's a little uncomfortable. In my opinion, that extra lift isn't worth the discomfort.
