Good non scented formula and good price
I really needed this as first time tattoos needed a lot of care and these worked perfectly. The soap wasn’t scented or abrasive or even drying so worked really well. The lotion is amazing ‘little bit goes a long way’ and the gel works really well on moisturising the area without becoming greasy. This formula has reacted well with my skin and will definitely be using for further tattoos.

Excellent tattoo after care
This stuff is GOOD. I’ve been “umming and ahhing” about buying Tattoo Goo for years, having previously used Bepanthen and swore by it. The kit comes with a very effective anti-microbial soap (see first two pictures after first wash). It immediately calmed the pain and redness, soothing my skin well. I recommend a couple of pumps of it for a larger tattoo, rubbed into a lather with your hands and give it a gentle massage, then wash off with warm water. I did this 2-3 times a day for the first few days, then once a day after that until healed. Please note in pictures, the Harley badge itself has been healed for a month; the smoke above and below is the new tattoo I’m treating. The balm is absolutely brilliant - perfectly designed to be spread across the skin. Instantly brings vivid brightness and shine to ink, new or old, and soothes the area to prevent itching. It needs working with your fingers a little bit once you get some out of the tin. I moved onto the lotion after about 6 days and it’s been great, easy to apply and also keeps ink bright. This may also be the tattooist’s skill, but I’ve found with this set of aftercare, the scabs have only been papery and thin, as they should be. Either way, I’m very happy, tattoo is healing well and I won’t be going back to Bepanthen.

Goodstuff!!
Loved this set, great for my first tattoo. Anti bac scent like old hospital smell, the tattoo colour enhancer really smells lovely also and makes the colours pop throughout the day. Recommend as an affordable small set to enhance your art work.

Fab stuff
Love this stuff !! The wash is fabulous it just soothes the area so much and cleans with no irritation. The balm is lovely too. The little tin of balm is fab it moisturises and really brings the colours out because a properly moisturised tattoo looks lovely compared to dry skin that dulls the colour - well worth the money

Good aftercare kit to help with healing a tattoo longterm
Used a few boxes for a full sleeve tattoo which I completed in single month by a high end artist in a very clean studio. The process we followed: • Wrapped on day of session, take off wrap at home before bed, use the wash with cold water to clean tattoo and rewrap for first night only, keeping everything very (very!) clean. If you can’t keep it clean leave wrap on from studio, go to bed, in morning wash and keep it clean in day. • I take vitamins daily (multivitamins and vitamin C) and I drink a lot of water. Research suggests both these can help with healing process, final result and helping prevent complications during the process. • Next 3 days from leaving studio, wash 2-3 times a day only, can use slightly warmer water. At night, I put my arm inside a cotton T-shirt and wore vest everyday and stayed out of any sunlight (I work from home). • Day 3 onwards skin will start to dry, maybe earlier or later, use balm when this happens, light layer as skin needs to breath Over next few days skin will change more flakey, like bigger dry patches, this is when you switch to lotion as it’s easier to spread. Don’t pick at anything, rub gently when washing and adding lotions. Pat dry with paper towel after both. • Continued this 3-4 weeks and can continue forever or slowly go back into old routines. Please note: • Tattoo size will vary timeline and healing process. For example, pea sized tattoo you will probably not experience any of this! • Tattoo will go from looking amazing, to crap, to getting better and looking great as final result. Keep up the process for at least 3-4 weeks at minimum. If after this, it’s not looking good, go back to tattooist and ask about touch ups. You might need some anyway if any ink hasn’t set correctly in some places but hopefully no touch ups needed. • After 1st week swelling and redness should go. If not talk to tattooist, if it’s minor monitor, if it’s major after week 1, see what tattooist says, nothing wrong with booking in with GP to give it the once over. Skin infections are most common when it comes to complications, look out for puss, red lines, swelling and pain, and feeing unwell. If still ongoing after 1 week then it indicates infection. Go to GP for this, will likely give you an antibiotic to take for a week to clear infection. Depending on severity, could really mess up your tattoo so it’s important to keep clean and not re wrapping. • You might come across wet and dry heal. Wet healing is keeping it moisturised and wrapped during healing. Dry healing is letting dry out so no lotion at all. Both have shown to work for some people but you run an increased risk of infection (wet healing) and cracking skin which can damage final result (dry healing). These processes probably work best for those with different than average skin types and tattooist best placed to make that judgement. Most normal healing recess is OK, just use common sense. If you follow process you should be healed after doing this 3-4 weeks. After this time you can resume a few things a normal like shower for example but avoid sun for little longer. Im following same process for 6 months whilst it’s not entirely necessary it’s how long your lower skin layers take to heal so I want to make sure I have the best tattoos result possible. Hope this helps someone. I got there, but if made everything more stressful trying to work this all out!

Great product
Great for use on my new tattoo, help with the healing process, I’ve also put in on a old tattoo to enhance the color on someone else, who has also brought tattoo goo , I’m buying the tattoo balm stick as I don’t like it getting under my fingernails from the tin

Great product, but...
Love the tattoo goo range. I recently bought the antimicrobial soap individually then wanted to try the balm, so the multi pack works out better value. The soap is great, cannot recommend it enough. The lotion is great too. I tend to use the lotion in the mornings as it spreads more than the balm & absorbs faster, therfore drys quicker - in time for getting dressed. I then use the balm in the evening, as this takes a little more time to work into the skin and absorb, stays wet for longer, hence the evening use. My only grip is the size of the balm... Its tiny! I have a full sleeve, as it stands I don't think I'll get many applications from it, I've only used it a couple of times and it's a third gone. I did research before hand, and there is a mini balm, therefore I presumed this would be larger. I'd suggest this is mini and the other tiny! Otherwise cannot recommend it enough. As long as the price stays down it makes sense to buy the pack, it's only slightly more expensive than buying 2 items individually. You will need another balm ready before you run out of the soap & lotion. Bear this in mind... If you have a small or single tatoo it will be no issue..

This kit is great! I have gotten five medium sized tattoos in the last year and they are all fabulous, despite my super dry skin. Starting with the soap... it's nice to have a travel size antibacterial, anti-microbial soap, but then it's fragrance free and alcohol free, both of which I can't have anyway, but for tattoos... is perfect. I wash my hands with this and then I wash my tattoo with this, and it feels amazing on the tattoo, no burning because no alcohol. Then going to the balm... Mmmmmmm it smells so pretty. It's made with olive oil, cocoa seed butter, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract, which are all well known plants that help with healing, but there's also coumarin, eugenol, geraniol, limonene, and linalool, all of which have things like anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, some analgesic properties, etc. In fact, the only thing that isn't really organic (as in made in nature) is the green coloring they use. The combination of all of the plants makes it smell wonderfully, helps with the healing process, and makes your tattoo feel better in the process. I definitely feel better when I apply this to my skin. The amounts that you get is a pretty decent amount because you only use it for the first two to three days. I have gotten five medium sized tattoos in the last year and the tin from the kit has lasted me four and a half. The only thing I don't like about the salve is that the tin is really hard to open sometimes, especially with nails. The lotion is good too. It's unscented and olive oil based. It's lightweight and feels good. I have reordered this stuff twice because I loved it so much and I use it to refresh my tattoos frequently.

The product is good but the delivery and the packaging was worst. And then comes the customer support was so fast that it took around 10 days to resolve and I still didn't receive my refund.
