I needed a cat carrier for a 12-hour trip to move to another state with my cat & 2 dogs & this will work perfectly. Of course he had to check it out as soon as I set on the floor. I love the fact that he has room to lay down or turn around without being too cramped for space, but also plenty of headroom to sit up or stand. There is good visibility for him to see out all the way around & straps to secure it with a seatbelt. The carrier has a solid bottom & a metal frame that keeps it all in shape but folds when not in use. To open the hood, you simply click a button & the hood folds back, making for easy one-hand access. It comes with a padded bottom but I just happened to have an oval bed that is the perfect size that I’m going to use inside a pillow case for easy cleaning later. Inside the carrier is a short strap with a clasp to attach to a harness on the cat. I’ll be using this with a Kitty Holster harness. All in all, it has everything I was looking for & to top it off, I noticed Amazon had a ‘Save with Used-Very Good’ option where I saved about $12 & received it inside an Amazon box & the only thing wrong was the original box had a big tear in the side of it but the carrier inside the plastic bag was untouched. The dimensions are 20”L x 12”W x 18.5”H.

My 19 yr old Cairn Terrier fits perfectly in this basket car carrier! He is a nipper and a trip to the Vet proved this little basket is perfection! I was able to simply close the lid once inside, since he is almost blind and starts barking as soon as he sees shadows. I closed the lid and handed him over to the Vet Tech...easy as that! I highly recommend! My dog is 18 1/2 pounds and fit perfectly inside, was able to snuggle down and sleep once the appointment was over! It was simple to buckle in the car and easy to handle! Highly recommend.

My cats play in and out of these like they're toys! So when we're ready for transport (seatbelt slots and all) they have no resistance! They can see all around! So feel secure. They're a little heavy for me as an aging 70+ who has enjoyed her life AND help always seems to show up when I need it! Highly recommend!

Perfect seems to be very durable and comfortable for my cat. Difficult to clean because of mesh , my cat had a number 2 accident and it was stuck in the mesh with no way to get it out.

Purchased this carrier for my cat vet visits. A little on the heavy side, but it could be that my 21 pound cat was in it. Was so much more convenient and easier than the traditional pet carriers, I would definitely recommend. I may get a second one to have on hand for my other two cats, who are lighter in weight. Good quality and sturdy; I just added an 18-inch crate bed for comfort. Easy storage. Very pleased.

We just moved 800 miles across country with two kitties in tow. These carriers (one for each) turned out to be perfect. They have plenty of room (and one of my babies is a 15-pounder) for the kitty, with headroom and stretch-out room both. There are straps on one side that you put the seatbelt through for extra security in case of a slam-the-brakes moment. We put the carriers out in our home where we moved from for several days before moving, and added a catnip toy for good measure. The kitties liked getting into the carriers just to play or sleep, and they still do. The carriers I have always had were much more "industrial" or "clinical," like they weren't created with the pet in mind, but with just the transportation to the vet or whatever. We really like these. And I guess the kitties do too!

I had a really nice enclosed carseat, but it just wasn't big enough for my 10 pound dog. I like this one. Enclosed but she can actually stand up in it.

My larger cat is super comfortable traveling in this and even loves just napping in it around the house. Love that it has no zippers and she can see out all the way around. Great purchase!

The push buttons to open is very convenient compared to a zipper, lock mechanism. My 12lb cat easily fit and has enough space to sit/lie down. I am not sure if this can fit other larger breeds like maine coons. Other than that, I thinks its a great carrier.

She sleeps in this at night. It’s safe for in the car and has a place to buckle it in. Really convenient for carrying to the vet or groomers. I definitely recommend

Its perfect for our new pup..Can be safe not worry about it getting out while i drive.Lots air to breath mesh sides.Worth the money.

Planning on moving across the country and knew I had to purchase something to keep my two cats safe. I bought two of these carriers and they are worth every penny. They’re big and have a lot of room (my Ragdoll can fit perfectly fine and still has room to move around), super easy to clip their harnesses in so they can’t jump out and being able to clip the hood over easily to bring them out of the car is perfect! 10/10 purchase.
