A good buy for a flute cleaning rod. Pair with a silk swab and you can keep your instrument in great working condition. Cleaning after each use is absolutely necessary. This is a sturdy rod and is easy to thread.

Perfect fit in the flute case!
It fits perfectly in my Bundy II flute case. It is very sturdy and helped me find the correct placement for the cork and crown so that I could tune my flute. Perfect!

Great replacement cleaning rod
My daughter lost her flute cleaning rod and she’s at a top high school and must have all her supplies every day, and with a $1,200 flute she needs to take good care of it! This came super quick and gets the job done.

Good quality product.
Just a standard metal flute cleaning rod, but it's durable. Of course, they're never long enough to suit me, but that's because I prefer to store my flutes assembled. :D Do make sure to wrap your cleaning cloth around it so you don't mar your bore with metal on metal, a standard warning with any but wooden cleaning rods. This, I bought, for a friend who lost their cleaning rod and it sets the head cork correctly.

American Plating knows how to make something feel good. I also purchased their fife and I love holding it. Yeah, I know this might scratch the inside of my fife, or my shakuhachi, or my beloved Xaphoon, but I love this cleaning rod and you will too.
