Tasty recipes. Easy to follow. Best snickerdoodle recipe ever. Made it vegan and it got rave reviews. Have yet to find a bad recipe and have made many. The strawberry cupcakes were just sweet enough. The praline frosting was phenomenal!

I saw the Author and book on the Chew and decided to order 2 of them on for myself and my 12 year old Granddaughter who has been baking and creating all kinds of beautiful and tasty cakes on her own that I am totally amazed with. I'm giving her the book for Christmas and after looking through it she is going to love it. I couldn't put it down myself. It's perfect for her. It's colorful, easy to read and use. It has all kinds of fun recipes and lot's of learning information. Together we are going to have great fun in the kitchen creating many more years of wonderful memories. For anyone that bakes or others that want to try and bake a cookies, cupcakes, and cakes go out and get this book. You'll love it and have fun baking. It will also look beautiful sitting on your counter. I can't wait to be able to let my sit out in my kitchen, but I have to wait for Christmas.Thank you for writing this book, Candace. i can't imagine there are bigger Sprinkles fans than my family - and Sprinkles is in a cupcake class by itself... #1 in a world where every other cupcake is a distant #2. Nothing compares. Nothing.Now, are these REALLY the Sprinkles recipes from their shops - with the finished product equaling the cupcakes folks wait in line for? After trying 4 or 5, I can say, "probably not" (or at least they don't seem to be exact in these smaller batches, without identical ingredients and equipment to their shops, if anything.)However, are some of these recipes (3 of the 5 we've tried, so far) about the best possible things that could ever come out of your home kitchen? YES!!! (And the other two were pretty good.) Tender, moist, dreamlike cupcakes with fantastic frostings and a final product that's about 100x better than the pretty tasty cupcakes your baker friend whipped up for little Janie's 6th birthday..The coconut cupcake recipe, alone, is worth the price of a cookbook, or three. Order some coconut extract when you order the cookbook... and thank me later... (best cupcakes you willl ever have). You may be whipping up a cupcake shop business plan after your friends rave about those.Highly recommended!

I bought this for my daughter in law. I loved it so much, I bought one for myself. Each recipe has a picture. Highly recommend!

I bought this book looking for the "secret" to the gluten free red velvet cupcakes sold in the store. I was hoping for the gluten free mix used in the store, but instead got a recommendation for a commercial brand. A bit disappointed there. Other than that, it's a beautiful book. I may try converting some of the gluten based recipes to gluten free. My book did arrive damaged, as if it were a return. Too much hassle to return it, and torn pages aren't a huge deal in this case.

Saw this book in Las Vegas. Wished I got it when I was there at the actual store. So happy to find it here online. It’s the real thing it’s just beautiful. Be sure to get it while you can.

I have long been a Sprinkles cupcake fan, and one of the bakery locations was very close to work so I would go there often for all treats - for birthdays, coworkers, and 'just because' needs. Ever since the pandemic however, I have not made it to the bakery and thought I would recreate some of the cupcakes at home instead. I made the Carrot Cake cupcakes for my husband's birthday, and HE LOVED THEM. They were delicious. I also made the Black and White cupcake recipe as a cake and also really enjoyed eating them! These recipes use a lot of butter and sugar. But THEY TASTE EXACTLY as they would fresh from the bakery. I can't wait to try the other recipes from the cookbook!

Great recipes and easy to follow!

This is a beautiful recipe book with pictures to accompany each cupcake/recipe.I have tried the recipes and they turned out so good! I was quite proud to serve cupcakes from these recipes. Easy to follow (which is important for anyone who doesn’t consider themselves a great baker) and a really lovely book! I would definitely recommend it to others!

Love the recipes but all the ingredients are in American measurements , it would be good to have a page with conversion to metric measurements.

Nach einem erneuten USA Besuch wurde ich auf Sprinkles Cupcakes aufmerksam. Die weltweit erste reine Cupcake Bäckerei, da meine Sammlung an Backbüchern immer weiter wächst und ich unbedingt Sprinkles Cupcakes backen wollte, musste dieses Backbuch her. Es hat eine sehr hochwertige Aufmachung und ein tolles Design, auf über 300 Seiten findet man alles was das Backherz begehrt: die berühmten Cupcakes in jedweder denkbaren Sorte, köstliche Kuchen, Pies, Tartes, Riegel, kleine Naschereien, Desserts... Man findet für jeden Anlass das passende Rezept. Des Weiteren gibt es sehr detaillierte Informationen zu benötigten Zutaten und deren Unterschiede, Handwerkszeug usw., gerade für Anfänger eine enorme Hilfe! Candace Nelson zeigt wie man die eigenen Cupcakes mit dem Signature Sprinkles Frosting verzieren kann, eine einfache wie schöne Technik und beschreibt was ein gutes Frosting ausmacht. Es gibt ein umfangreiches Vorwort, in welchem man sehr gut erfährt wie Candace zum Backen kam und den Grundstein für Sprinkles legte, eine äußerst sympathische Frau!Die Rezepte sind sehr detailliert und gut beschrieben, heute das erste ausprobiert: Strawberry Cupcakes, absolut gelingsicher! Wenn man sich erstmal mit der Umrechnung der US Maße in unsere metrischen Einheiten vertraut gemacht hat, macht es ebenso viel Spaß wie mit heimischen bzw. europäischen Backbüchern. Bei der Umrechnung gibt es einiges zu beachten damit das Rezept auch gelingt, aber da gibt es gute Hilfen im Netz.Manche Zutaten mögen nicht so leicht zu beschaffen sein, da helfen aber die vielen Online Shops für amerikanische Lebensmittel sehr gut weiter.Die Rezepte klingen nicht nur lecker sondern sind es auch. Absolut köstlich und so leicht und schnell gemacht! Auch hält sich die Süße in Grenzen, (jeder der sich über zu süße Cupcakes aus englischen oder amerikanischen Rezepten beschwert, weiß wohl nicht dass diese Süße einfach dazugehört, ist nun mal keine deutsche Erfindung und das sollte man auch wissen wenn man entsprechende Rezepte nachbackt), und ist nicht so überlagernd wie bei Kolleginnen aus der Branche.Ich freue mich schon weitere Rezepte auszuprobieren, das Sprinkles Backbuch ist mein neuer Liebling im Regal!Klare Kaufempfehlung, ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschritten und für jeden der Cupcakes & Co. so sehr liebt wie ich!
