You know exactly why, I bought this hat....
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is better than a costume hat but not as elegant as a formal, silk lined head wear. I guess it was selling for $40 at one time, as the plastic dust bag in came in had a price tag on it for $39.99 Felt Hat. But at $25 and free shipping, I'm satisfied. I use this item solely for impersonating the character Heisenberg. You will get noticed. Most guys now a days wear a Trilby or a baseball cap. Definitely a Fall or Winter hat, it's warm.

If you want to go Full Heisenberg, this is it!
Just finished watching all seasons/episodes of Breaking. I grew a goatee and my colleague said all I needed was the pork-pie hat (haven't shaved my head, yet). The hat is exactly what I had anticipated. Sure, it came in a puffy bag, took all of 5 seconds to get it in shape, and viola, Heisenberg came to life! Well fitted and also includes an adjustment inside the lining. Great quality materials, for the price to value ratio, definitely a 5 out of 5!

This hat is where it's at, Boo Boo
I'm a cartoonist and a major geek for all things animation, and I wanted a Yogi Bear style pork pie hat. This one is as close in style and color as I could find. Very comfortable and fits nicely. I knew my fitted hat size is 7 to 7 1/8 depending on maker, and the medium fits perfectly for my grape.My chief complaint is with Amazon. For crying out loud, you shipped a HAT in a soft unpadded vinyl mailer envelop! Luckily it arrived slightly mushed but popped back into normal shape without any permanent creases or I'd have been really upset. Use a BOX for hats like this or run the risk of damaging the product.

The hat's a HIT!
What can I say? Ever since I saw this hat, I knew it was a style I would like. What I didn't expect, was what came after I wore it. This is excellent quality materials, craftsmanship made, and nice detailing as well. It is well fitting, with an adjustment available inside the lining. Everywhere I go, I get compliments on this. The other styles just didn't click with me, but this one is all mine! Excellent choice, fast delivery (intact as well!), and a great price makes this a wonderful choice.

I still have HOPES...
This thing is VERY thin. Felt has a way of expanding as it's worn and becomes more weathered so I still have hopes. But it honestly feels like more of a cosmetic piece than a real everyday wear.I have only had and worn it daily for about a week now but it is nothing like my last one which is sadly no longer manufactured.The fit is awesome. I wear an L / XL and it fits NICE. I can adjust it to block wind or sun and it stays put on my noggin. I just hope the felt blooms and it looks less "fake"UPDATE: I've fallen in love with this hat. The felt is still a bit thin but I was able to wear it while walking to work in a very strong rain. It kept the water out of my collar and off my head. I had to remember to tilt my head forward every couple of minutes to empty the brim. I still can't give it a 5 star just because of how thin the felt is but it's now my goto hat for everyday wear. Due to fit and water shedding ability I did raise my overall to a 4 star and would go 4.5 if possible.

Great wool porkpie hat,better fit on me than the picture,and very stylish. It is suggestive of a flat hat but has a little more urban style,many other color alternatives.This pork pie hat profile is getting popular and this is a really nice and cost-effective alternative. I am very happy with this purchase!

Women - Go bigger size if ya want brimmier look
Has adjustable band inside which is lovely. Big headed Ladies are best to size up and then tighten the adjustable band to fit. Otherwise the small size hats brim seems a bit narrow for an 80s/90s Boy George look. Not super high quality thickness but nice for price and looks good for occasionalWear. Musicians or fashionistas might want to invest a bit more for an everyday wear hat. Still this is a good buy :)

Nice hat but...
It's a pity that the wool is too soft andthe hat is not very stable.I also buyed a wool trilby for five bucks last year which is more stable. This pork pie is nice for the showcase.
