The kit was just as described, worked perfectly fine to do a needed garage tune up.The brackets seems to be of good quality and strong enough for the task.I also received them right away, next day to be exact, that was an added bonus for me.Great product so far, hopefully the parts will last many years to come

My garage door stopped going up and down with the motor lift because the old pullies and rollers were frozen and the rollers had to glide on the rail instead of turning in it. This rebuild kit solved the problem and was a true Do It Yourself DIY project.

This was better than the original hardware. Hinges were beefy. Thicker material and a bit more surface area (wider). The rollers were quiet and a lot less effort to move door than standard steel.

Overall, the kit is as advertised. I didn't have any major issues installing. I had to buy self tapping bolts to install. Couldn't use the mount hardware that came with it.

Give new life to my double garage door.

I had two different garage door repair companies tell me that I needed a new door -- about $2500 and 2-3 weeks out... So I ordered these and simply replaced the broken hinges myself. These weren't an exact match for my existing hinges, but as long as you replace the whole row at a time, it really doesn't matter. Just make sure that you're installing them in the correct positions so that they roll correctly, and so that the hinges open in the correct spot.

I had a garage door sized problem. My 2 car garage door had a broken hinge! It was a disaster until I found this kit. Thought I would try it before calling a service. Fortunately, I didn’t have to replace the very bottom hinge, so I did the broken one and two others that looked suspiciously near the end of their usefulness. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was rolling up the door. Rolled the door down again and replaced every hinge-roller (except the bottom one on either side). And now I have a working garage door that is ten times quieter than it has ever been and rolls smoothly up and down.I’m not an expert in this stuff so I can’t tell you anything other than it took between 40 and 45 minutes to do the roller-hinges and now my garage door works better than ever. And I didn’t have to call a garage door repair service!

Needed this kit overnight for emergency Hurricane Ian garage door repair. The hinges and rollers seem to be high quality but the included bag of bolts are the wrong ones. I need self-tapping screws like all other garage doors. This bag of nuts and bolts would require drilling all the way through the door and then having a second person push each bolt through while you install the nut...all hundred or so times. Then you have a bunch of shiny bolt heads sticking out the front of your garage door.Even worse, underneath each bolt head is a square section of the shaft that is meant to fit into a square slot so that the bolt doesn't move while you tighten the nut so this is completely the wrong hardware for any garage door. Who's idea was this?This complication is the last thing I need while making hurricane-damage repairs and now I need to either return this kit or try to find a box of self tapping screws at added expense and time.
