This a delicious and addictive energy gel.

Perfect in-race/in-run nutrition for my running. I eat one about every 3 miles during long runs and the results are spectacular. FOR ME it's the perfect blend of energy + calories + protein + electrolytes. Not to mention the awesome caffeine kick. BONUS: delicious chocolate/coffee flavor. I COULD NOT RUN WITHOUT THESE THINGS!

Great flavor!

I bought these first at the store, single packets, and I started using them before my ride home after work. Usually by that time, after 10 hours, I am a little tired anyway, but I have found these give me that much more energy I need to go the distance without tiring before I get home, especially when the temperatures get really hot, high 90's to over 100 degrees. But I also work out with free weights. So one day when I was doing my leg workout, I did my sets of squats before the leg extensions etc., then decided I wanted to do some more squats. So I took a gel about 15 minutes before I was going to tackle it again and found I had a surge of energy to do 4 more sets with heavier weights, after my leg ext's. So yes, these work quite well. The flavors I love the most are Espresso Love , (strange name but great taste) vanilla and chocolate outrage. But that is my preference since I am a lover of chocolate, and like who isn't? Another note, or update, (4-30-2011), I often use these after my workout (with weights) as an energy boost and recovery. Sometimes during a workout for the extra energy, but most likely to use it after. It works great, and at only 100 calories, it is just the right amount. The box is cheaper than buying the singles at the store, so for me it is the best way to go. I am sure there are other sports that could benefit from these gels. Buy it on Amazon's subscription, and the price drops even more.

Really good gu. Helpful on long runs. I used to just use during races, then decided to try on long training runs, after a run where I totally hit the wall. I feel so much more energy during run, and less depleted at the end. I take one before I start, and another after about 45 minutes if I'm going to run for at least another half hour. I'd like to get another flavor without caffeine for evening runs, but these have been great. Just use with care - you get it on your hands mid run, your are going to be a sticky mess :-)

I like this product for long sports activities as it’s easy to digest and I like the flavor.,Rather expensive and hope to find it elsewhere for cheaper.

Delicious and zooming snack

A tasty gel, with no overly sweet taste, which is great. It has a pleasant coffee flavor, though the coffee strength isn’t too strong, making it just right for use during training. One aspect that could be improved is the tear-off top—after tearing it off, it becomes uncomfortable to hold the gel and the detached top.

I find this gel very handy as it is compact enough to fit into pocket, but the main thing is that it supplies a good energy boost. I particularly like the coffee flavour as it is more palatable than some other flavours.

Gu was the second brand of gel I've tried. I found gu worked well for me. It doesn't feel heavy in the stomach and doesn't give me gut problems. I've tried 4 flavours and Like them all. Root beer was my go to no caffeine gel, but can't seem to find it this year. Caramel macchiato is just awesome gives you that extra boost. Chocolate outrage is just an odd way of saying it tastes like chocolate icing. Espresso LOVE is for coffee lovers. It tastes great.

Comme ces dernières le format de ces gourdes est très bien adapté pour les sorties longues (j'en consomme un par tranche de 10 km parcourus) et dont le goût est agréable ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans ce genre de produit. Faciles à transporter, ces gourdes contiennent dans un faible volume (32g), une grande quantité d'énergie pour seulement 100 calories. Elles apportent l'énergie nécessaire grâce au fructose naturel (sucre rapide) et à la maltodextrine absorbée immédiatement par les muscles. Comme elles contiennent un ensemble de sels minéraux, elles retardent aussi la déshydratation. Elles permettent aussi de soutenir les efforts intenses grâce aux glucides complexes qui stabilisent le taux de glycémie sanguine tandis que les citrates accélèrent la conversion de ces glucides en molécules énergétiques. Attention, il est préférable de boire l'équivalent d'un verre d'eau juste après son absorption, cela permet de diluer l'effet sucré tout en maximisant leur effet.
