Easy to control the amount of color
I love this blush because it’s so creamy, goes on sheer so you can control how much you wanna apply, and it lasts! I had the same shade in NARS but it had dried out so I purchased this. Honestly, I think the elf does a better job and it goes on more smoothly.

First try w/Cream blush...Notes for women with mature skin.
As a woman in her 50's, I feel like I just finally found colors that work on my paler skin tone (no longer sun kissed) only to all of a sudden feel like the formulas I've relied on for decades just aren't sitting right anymore on my more mature skin. The powders I've always had to rely on to combat oil now make me look older and cakey! This is my first foray into the world of cream blush so I can only comment on this product as I haven't tried any others but started here due to the price point as I'm only experimenting with the formulation for now.I ordered every color and was initially worried about how bright/deep/intense the colors looked in comparison to a powder. At first dab, I looked like a clown but I'm pleasantly surprised at how natural it looks once blended in. It's hard to over due it since you can just blend it out. I first tried this on bare skin and after blending, I couldn't tell where my natural blush and this blush started/stopped.It looks far more natural than a powder as it blends into the skin where as a powder sits on top of it. I find that this formulation makes placement control much more precise than a powder which becomes more important as our faces age (droop) as sloppy blush placement on an aging face can make you look saggier. There is no glitter which allows me to control my highlight which is also important on aging faces. It also doubles as a lip color dabbed on under a little gloss/balm for a nice easy cohesive natural look.I will be trying the putty bronzers next.I highly recommend this product even if it's just to experiment with a cream formulation.

Sheer red flush
Beautiful sheer brick red color. Looks like a natural flush. Great for my light olive skin.

Sinks into lines and wrinkles. Doesn't last. Better product at the Dollar Txxe.
Not exactly why I am in the minority on this product rating. I ordered Bora Bora. Although it looks extremely bright on line and in the pot, I followed another reviewers suggestion and just got it. It does not go on as it looks in the pot. It is much more subtle than that. What I did was apply No7s SPF 50 foundation first. Then used a domed brush to lightly pat the cream. Using a tapping motion tap I applied the blush from pupil area to temple. While the color looked nice on my light skin tone there were two deal breaking issues for me. 1. it settles into lines. Badly. To test my observation I rubbed a bit on to the top of one of my fingers. Sure enough rather than "melt" into the skin as a good blush should, it sat on top. Except to highlight EVERY line by settling into the lines. One could see a residue of pink in the bottom of the lines. Not sure if ELF was trying to mimic some of the Korean blushes that are advertised as "Muds". But clearly there as some sort of clay or powder in the formula causing it to sink into the lines. And 2. it didn't last more than a few hours and was easily rubbed or displaced by any contact. Suc as laying briefly on a pillow. I don't expect my blushes to last a long time but hopefully six hours would be ideal. The big one is sinking into lines. While that may not be an problem for folks under 30 yo. but for us older folks that would accentuate every "fine" line (I laugh at that term making for actually LINES), wrinkle and crows feet we have earned over the decades. I like that is as matte and there are so very few of them out there. Again, unsure why there is a plethora of blushes with shine, glow and glitter unless again trying to follow the Korean fad of glass skin. Which personally, having grown up in the make-up era of Matte, I find looks like someone rubbed their faces with Vaseline. I found a product in the Dollar Tree which I liked better. For $1.25. I don't use it directly on my skin as it will stain and dries to fast to be workable. Same technique using a domed brush I wipe if over the tip of the jelly tint and lightly tap on to the creeks. If you wish to stain with it you can do so. Although advertised as a lip colorant too I found to way to drying.

Great for dry aging skin
I am 58 and since the M word my skin is so dry. I had borderline oily skin before and had tried cream blush before but on top of foundation it was too much. Now, however I am trying out the cream blushes again since powders are too dry. I saw a YouTube review of this blush from a person with similar coloring to mine. Light brown hair, fair complexion, blue eyes. She used the Rose Pink so I tried it and I LOVE it. I tried other brands and they either blended into my foundation so you can’t see them or faded over time. I am not a makeup person either. I typically don’t wear any. But if I have to go into the office or just need something I wear some foundation, blush, a little eyeliner, and mascara if I need to. I did try the Rose Pink on my lips and it is a very nice color there too but I would recommend not wearing it alone. It feels a little dry after a while so just apply some clear lip balm or something over it and it’s great for a daytime color because it gives your lips just an added little boost. Overall I wanted something inexpensive but nice since I don’t wear makeup a lot I just needed to find good well priced makeup that suited my drier skin. I highly recommend searching YouTube if you see a brand you are thinking about and watching a review from a person with similar coloring. The last thing is the Amazon photos are not good. On my iPad this blush looked too coral but it was more the shade I like in the video so that got me to try it and the shade is perfect now coral at all.
