I love oatmeal ! I have it in the morning, and sometimes on a cold night as a snack. I do not buy those instant oatmeal packets, due to all of the added ingredients. If I want apple cinnamon oats, I simply use these whole oats with either some diced apples, applesauce, apple butter, or a little apple juice with some cinnamon or apple pie spice. I love to experiment with flavors too. Making P,B, & J oatmeal or chocolate, using either some cocoa powder or a packet of hot cocoa mix, in. I make pumpkin pie oatmeal by adding some canned pumpkin and a little pumpkin pie spice into it. I eat it with Greek yogurt, or berries, or some mashed banana with a pinch of cinnamon. I probably have made 100 different flavors and combinations over the years. I love to make granola with it. We munch on that, for a healthy, crunchy snac. It's so versatile too, because you can add or leave out anything you want to. Helps cut back on chips and sweets consumption because it covers those categories. It's great as an ingredient in museli. Even savory, cooked by replacing some of the water with some seasoned tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce. It's a nice change for a side item. There are hundreds of ways to change up the flavors of your morning or overnight oats naturally and without "junk" added in. My husband's favorite is to use the oats to make no-bake peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. It's a great value for this box ! Eight pounds is a lot of oats, but when you eat it like we do, a monthly subscription is warranted.

I wanted to buy Oatmeal in bulk but not in the cannisters because those get crushed during shipping and spill out all over the pace. This acts like a refill for my existing cannister which is a little crushed. But it's just so convenient to get the Oatmeal in large 4 lb bags. And it is 8 lbs total because two bags come in a box. Good job on Quaker for having this bag refill option.

I thought Amazon's Basic Old Fashioned Oatmeal was really good. This takes it up a couple of notches. You can't beat the price either. This large box of oatmeal is actually a little cheaper than Amazon's oatmeal.

Great! My friend convinced me to start making overnight oats instead of buying instant oats full of sugar, and it's been a game changer. Texture and taste is great, and the nutrition is a plus. The consistency is exactly as expected. I find that now that I add protein powder, these are extremely filling and leave me full till lunch. I haven't used these outside of an overnight context, so not sure how fast they cook, but they work great for my needs!
