I love this teapot! It’s just the right size (3 cups); not too big, not too small. Also it’s not too heavy like the cast iron teapots; yet it’s sturdy. It has a great infuser with lots of tiny holes that gives great flavor without any leaves in your cup. Heat retention is great because the lid fits very well. It’s easy to pour and clean. The design is simple but beautiful and has a great color. I highly recommend it.

I love this teapot. My beautiful iron Japanese pot with the raised dimples is nice to look at but dysfunctional in every way. This teapot is such a relief! No more dripping all over the bar, no more iron rust rings on every surface. This teapot has a very nice design and a four cup capacity (perfect for two large mugs of tea). It has a beautiful stainless steel insert. The lid fits snugly down and will not fall off even when inverted. I got lilac and it is so pretty to look at with an artistic roundness to it.

This was to be a gift, but after a mishap with an other company, I returned to Sweese. I had gotten a larger pot a few years back & we've really liked it. I have quite a few friends & neighbors who drink tea & was planning on gifting this. But after opening it & checking it to make sure it was intact, I had to keep it. I will be buying more to replace the gift that didn't quite happen, but these are truly some of the best teapots I've owned. The lid doesn't always fit snuggly, but for the price? Great value. I like the fact that the lid & pot are ceramic. The tea filter is versatile, & easy to use with the handles. No burned fingers. 27 oz size is perfect for two people. These will make wonderful gifts!

I purchased this to replace a 42 ounce teapot that simply was too much tea to drink by myself with any hope of it staying hot.This teapot is perfect for my purposes. I use rather large mugs, and this makes a perfect 2 cups in my favorite mug., with enough room for milk. (For reference I use the 16 ounce Anchor Hocking Cafe glasses.)The infuser is deep enough for the tea to be nicely submerged with room to unfurl. No sharp edges on the infuser, it's very easy to clean.I knock off one start because of the design of the lid. The lid is designed to fit firmly into the infuser, which is lovely. However, when your tea is brewed and you remove the infuser the lid is clearly way too small for the teapot itself. It slides around if you don't hold it firmly into place. A slightly wider silicone seal around the lid would solve this problem.Not a big deal if you plan to drink the entire pot in one pour, but a minor irritation for those of us that don't over steep OR toss in a teabag rather than loose leaf on occasion.

It was a different blue than I imagined, yet a very delightful color. The color reminded me of the fifties powder puff blue eye shadow. I truly love it. It was well packaged. Perfect for a vintage tea! Thank you so much for offering it on Amazon! Will tell others.

It’s a nice little teapot that’s exactly what I was looking for to make tea. I just got it today and it was easy to clean. The metal steeper is good quality so I’m assuming this will suit me fine. The size is good because I’ll mostly be making tea for myself, though it will have enough room for a few guests as well.I will update this review after some usage.*update*2 days of using it and its great. The included infuser is even better than I expected. There have been 0 tiny tea granules able to slip past the infuser. I'm using loose tea leaves. It stays warm for long enough for me to enjoy 2 cups of tea. I bring the teapot to my desk and refill as needed. However, the lid in the description says that the plastic gasket keeps the lid on tight... It does fit better when you have the metal infuser in the pot. When you take the infuser out (which you should do after 5-10 mins so your tea isn't bitter) the lid is very loose and you have to place it on top, so make sure to hold on to it when pouring. That isn't a deal breaker for me and its doing just fine, I like it.
