No jerking around!
Love this Caribbean heat. Marinade your meat and place on the grill. The flavor is spot on.

Deliciousness
My family raves over jerk anything, but this right here? Took it up a notch. The savory, sweet [but not TOO sweet] and spicy combo was an absolute hit. Will definitely purchase again. Definitely recommend for those that cannot deal with the spicy version.

Mild
Grace is the only jerk seasoning my husband can eat. He didn’t like spicy food. Grace’s mild is actually mild but still flavorful. We love it!

Something changed for the worse.
I used Grace's Hot Jerk paste for ages, but then moved away and no longer had access to the Caribbean grocery where I'd bought it. I couldn't even find a mail-order source for years (the company itself never bothered to reply to my enquiry), and eventually I used up what I had. That was 5 years or more ago. Recently I was delighted to discover that Amazon sells what purports to be the original seasoning, and immediately bought 2 jars. It's not the same in any way, and definitely not an improvement. The original was *hot* but subtly blended, with a smoky undertone. This new version has a very heavy, blunt-force taste that I can't identify. I haven't discarded it yet because I'm hoping that giving it an airing uncapped on the balcony from time to time might make it calm down, but at present I don't think it is usable for any ethical purpose.

Truly Awful, Don't Buy
A-1 used to have the Best Jamaican Jerk sauce. I was hoping this one would rekindle old memories, I guess? Nasty bitter taste. Horrible.

23 bottles in 4 years!?!? Yeah, I think my family likes it!
Updated: I wrote my first review on this product in 2017 after realizing I had purchased 23 bottles of Grace Jerk Seasoning - in roughly 4 years. It's now 2024 and I've purchased 64 jars 7 years! I've never had an issue with an order until my last order where they accidently sent me the wrong product. I was devastated. I could tell the order had been shipped from Jamaica and thought it would take another few weeks to fix things but that was not the case at all. As soon as I reached out to them they shipped my correct order (from Jamaica) and I got it within 3 days! They made it right so quickly and I am so happy about this! It was packaged perfectly (as always, I've never received a broken jar) and I would definitely recommend that if you like Jerk seasoning and want above and beyond customer service you try this product. Tank Yuh Grace for making an outstanding product! Read my original review below.Original review: I went though my order history and found that I had purchased 23 bottles of Grace Jerk Seasoning - Hot from 2013 to date. Nope, I don't own a restaurant, I just love this seasoning. I find it goes great on pork and shrimp but it really makes chicken delicious. The flavor is so delicious. If you don't like too much heat I would recommend ordering the mild because this seasoning is HOT but oh so tasty! Thank you Grace for making this ambrosia!

Yah, mon! Quite good...
Though it is difficult to replicate the true flavor of Jamaican jerky you can get on the island, I've been able to get fairly close with this rub. I have used some dry rubs in the past, but find that the Grace rub gets me as close to the real thing as anything I've tried outside of Jamaica.
