Does Exactly What You Expect, Perfectly.
My headphone cable was always just a few feet too short to comfortably reach my PC while I was at my desk. This 6-foot extension is the perfect solution. There is absolutely no loss in sound quality, no static, and no crackling. The connectors feel snug and secure on both ends. It’s a simple, affordable product that does exactly what it needs to do, flawlessly.

Great value
I purchased the Amazon Basics 3.5mm Audio Extension Cable to add some extra reach between my headphones and my desktop computer, and it’s been absolutely perfect. The 6-foot length gives me just the right amount of flexibility without creating unnecessary cable clutter. The build quality is surprisingly solid for the price—especially the gold-plated connectors, which help deliver clear, static-free sound. I’ve used it with several devices, including my phone, car stereo, and laptop, and it’s worked flawlessly across the board.Another big plus is the snug fit of the connectors—no loose connections or drop-outs during use. It’s a simple product, but it delivers exactly what it promises. For under $7, it’s a total no-brainer. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable aux extension cable without breaking the bank!

Have a cable cutter handy
The two twisty-ties on each cable are so tightly wound that you'll need a cable cutter to take them off.

$5 buy it worksss
Worked perfectly needed it to stretch from tv to bed on cheap head phones for night tv without waking others! Connection clicked in tightly no static disconnect sounds. Not sure how thick cable should be lol but it looks “normal” please don’t cancel me for using that word it’s a wire haha and flexibility umm it can stretch out and wrap back up. It fit in plug how it’s supposed too! 5 doll hairs but it.

Defective right from the start - TWICE
As several other 1* reviews have noted, this Amazon Basics cable was defective right from the start. If the headphones are plugged in all the way, so it snaps securely, almost no sound comes through at all. It's barely detectable. If you plug the headphone jack in only partway and manage to find the perfect sweet spot, you can get better sound -- but obviously that doesn't provide a very secure connection. This cable is obviously very cheaply made, with zero quality control. It's just garbage.Naturally, I initiated a return, and Amazon offered to ship me a brand new one free of charge, and helpfully they said I didn't even have to return the defective cable. Fine, I thought, I can wait a few more days. The new package arrived swiftly, but YOU GUESSED IT, the new cable is defective in exactly the same way.Note that the problem is definitely with the Amazon Basics cable. Both performed the same way with every set of headphones in the house, and on multiple different devices. It is clear from the other reviews mentioning the same problem that this is a widespread problem with Amazon Basics cables. Whole batches are probably defective, and they KNOW IT, and they're still shipping them out anyway with no quality control. This time I asked for my money back, and of course now I DO have to go to the trouble to ship their garbage back to them. I am done with Amazon Basics products. RAISE YOUR STANDARDS, Amazon!
