As I've been falling in love with Japanese culture I was really excited to get these and they did not disappoint. They are larger and feel sturdier than the disposable ones that we all know. These also have a nice finish and are extremely easy to clean. It seems no matter how caked on something is it just comes right off with a dish towel. Unless something is embedded in the tips and then it does require some scrubbing and rinsing. For 5 pair with the price it is at, I'd say that it is just about right.

I had a hard time picking other bamboo chopsticks on the market because the print patterns are cute but not for me. These chopsticks are the perfect size. The wood is smooth while the wood grain makes it very easy to pick up food and hold onto it and they are very comfortable between the fingers. The simply design to me feels more mature so I'm more comfortable using these rather than the really colorful chopsticks. Simple, minimalistic design and do as they should. Great purchase.

I haven't tried these out yet, but they're just like the best chopsticks I've used, and I'm looking forward to using them.

They are not one time use. I could probably use these over and over again lasting for a few years. No splinters, they are nice and smooth and light.

I never was good at eating with chopsticks but I find them useful for various stirring and mixing. These are perfect for my purpose.
