Kept squirrels away for the most part!
The battle of the squirrels partially won. I got to taste some of my fruit! The netting worked pretty well and easy to wrap a small tree. I stretched it out wide and started wrapping from the top, overlapping all the way down. I used clips/sandwich ties along the way to securely close overlapping areas. At the bottom I threaded ribbon and then cinched it closed around the base of the trunk. I was able to pick about half of the crop that I originally started with. I am not sure if the squirrel got in or if a rat made it up from the small space in the bottom. Just never know! My persimmons were sweet and nice to try after 3 years of the squirrel fight. I am not sure if this is worth all of the effort just for 7 persimmons! Lol The netting was tricky to remove without tearing.

Works great, lots of material, but sad story with it. 5 stars though.
Got these for my tomato plants as the Cardinals were eating them. It worked. Lots of fabric. I used these to cover 3 pretty large 5 gallon bucket tomato plants. Only down side is that a cardinal did get caught in it and die. I was pretty bummed about it and made me rethink if it was worth it. I mean the product is good and all that, but maybe I should have thought about a different approach. That poor dead bird (it was a female cardinal) is engrained in my memory.

The holes are dangerous for small birds
I bought this several months ago and it does work pretty well to deter wildlife, however birds get tangled in it easily. Earlier today I saw a small bird sitting on it on the edge of a grow bag. When I went out later, its feet were tangled in the netting and it was hanging upside down. As I tried to release it, obviously it struggled and got more tangled in the holes. The netting got around its wing and neck and I had to get scissors to snip net pieces and I had to cut a hole in the net. I was able to bring the bird inside my garage to try to get the snagged netting that was/is wrapped around various parts of its wing. Of course, he got away and is still in my garage (with food and water now) and its been trying to pick off the tangled line which has not been successful. It looks like a rats nest of green fishing line above its shoulder. It doesn't want to go outside as it seems to know it won't be able to fly very well. Can't recommend for this reason.
