BRYTE Light Up Unicorn Terrarium Kit - Blue & Pink Round Plastic Dome, Ages 4-12 - Fairy Garden Kids Kit with Seeds & Terrarium Rock

We got this for a project for my little girl and I to do together, just something fun. I received it and the paints were all dried up but 1 was semi usable, so we used other paint we had already around the house. But my big issue is we followed instructions word for word, after completing the set up it was placed in a bay window that got plenty of sunlight. Within 4 to 5 days after getting it set up we go back to trim up the grass and add the lights an all the grass and terrarium is covered in mold. Even if I was to start all over I'd have to purchase more soil and seeds to be able to do so. If anyone can tell me how to contact the seller to let them know it would be greatly appreciated. We're both disappointed we were looking forward to seeing it light up. Thanks.

Always looking for fun projects to take along for my 4 yo granddaughter and I to work on together! This is the best one yet! Painting the unicorns, castle & rainbow first was so fun for her. Then putting together the terrarium, including planting the seeds was awesome. Sprouts were showing the very next day! By day 7, the grass was so full and already touching the top!!! She had a blast trimming the grass too! We got a spray bottle from Dollar Store which works perfectly to keep soil moist. She sprays water on it each morning and we put it back on window sill which gets morning sun. Instant gratification! Oh, and don’t forget to watch the roots which are totally visible! One think I should mention is paints that came w kit were dried out like rubber. Fortunately, we had lots of acrylic craft paints on hand so it wasn’t an issue for us. Anyway, we both love this ongoing activity of watering, watching, trimming. The included UV LED lights which we put on after grass was about 3” tall look super cool!

I did not have high hopes for this kit... Setting it up was easy and fun, the paint they give you is so so... I pulled out an acrylic set we had so we could have a little more options painting the castle, unicorns and rainbow.. we planted the seeds and within a week the grass was growing like crazy. We didn't put the lights in until the grass grew and then we made it a nightlight. The grass grew so much we actually trimmed it.. 4 year old had a blast with this! Totally giftable! I loved it!

The project was fun to occupy the little one's creative minds. My daughter loves unicorns, and she occupied herself for a full day painting the two unicorns, castles, and rainbow that the kit came with. All was perfect until we grew the seeds. It took about 3 days to see the grass come out, but started molding immediately. If we were supposed to keep the lid off or outdoors during this process, the instructions did NOT indicate so. Anyway, the grass grew about 1 inch EVERY day. We are at day 8 now, and I've been cutting about 1 inch off every day, with no end in sight. Is this thing is supposed to eventually stop growing? If not, add some maintenance remarks! I wanted to hook this up with the light for my daughter's room, but was not expecting mold or a real plant that needs to be maintained. It was fun and pretty for a little while though .... My 6 years old literally said "why does it keep growing, it's a rip-off mommy!"

I purchased this gift for my 5 year old daughter. She LOVED painting the unicorns and castle and planting the seeds. The seeds sprouted within days, much to my surprise, and the grass is still going strong. I like that the kit supplies you with LOTS of seeds, so we can continuously plant new ones when we want to do so. The light string has nice colors and is surprisingly bright - we don't use it as a night light because it's a bit too bright - but it casts a nice glow to the room. Great gift for a child.

My six-year-old daughter got this for Christmas and has been begging for us to do it but I kept putting it off because I was concerned about the mess to clean up afterwards. I’ll be the first to admit that I was worrying over nothing. She painted while I cooked dinner and then we worked on planting the seeds together. I think this was by far one of her favorite gifts and she has called all of her grandparents to tell them how much fun she had creating her “masterpiece” lol. *Side note - the rainbow “6” candle was not included with this😂. My daughter dug that out of a drawer and stuck it in there.

It came with everything shown. The paint was dried out. Packaging was damaged and dirt was all over

My 7 year old daughter was in heaven with this unicorn terrarium. (My 12 year old was kinda jealous) It kept her busy, she got to be creative, and it turned out darling! It is a nice large size so it is easy to see details. For the money it was a fantastic gift! Would definitely recommend.
