Q: Is this the same blend / type of espresso used in Bristot Pods?

Thank you for your question. The coffee used is the same Brazilian Alta Mogiana Arabica. While I cannot speak to personal preference regarding how the finished product would taste in comparison, i.e.--using pods vs. an espresso maker, the coffee is the same. The grind should be more fine for the espresso machine compared to the pods, but both should have a smooth aftertaste.

Q: Is it compatible with espresso machines?

This ground espresso is compatible with espresso machine, however, the grind of this espresso is more coarse, therefore you have to find the right quantity. In addition, we suggest to press a a bit more, in order to have a compact “cake”. We also suggest you look at our Espresso Cremoso which works perfectly with espresso machines. Q: Is the bag vacuum sealed?

I love this coffee

This is my favorite coffee. Moka oro. It is the perfect espresso in my opinion. Not bitter whatsoever. Strong ,bold and sweet. It’s just really good. I always make Carmel lattes as my go to and this is my favorite coffee for it.

Yummy, using the right equipment.

I got this to make in my French press. It tastes great, but for my purpose it's a little to fine and my last few drinks are a little grainy. If you were to pack this down and run it through a espresso machine instead this would be awesome!

Not fresh.

Wasn't a fan of the flavor of this coffee. Upon arrival it was noted that it was roasted in early 2024. We are in April of 2025. Just expected fresher coffee than this.
