This worked perfectly... slightly tight, but perfect for our Samsung Frame TV install. It fit the AV box and excess cables. We used the template that came with it to cut a hold in our wall behind the TV mount location. The TV mount did have to block the box, due to the size of the TV vs. mount location options, so the mount will need to be removed if we ever need to access the box contents beyond. So far so good though!

I replaced a massive case which had been installed in my house when it was built 20 years ago, which was supposed to be future proof. It was over 24” tall and stuck out of the wall almost 4”. It turns out it wasn’t so future proof after all. There was only one coaxial cable in there and an electrical outlet, since I don’t have a phone landline or cable TV anymore. This case could have handled more a lot more, but I did not need it. I did have to patch up the massive hole left behind, which cost about $30 worth of materials, but so worth it in the end.

Worked perfectly! Used this for mounting a Frame tv and it made it all work flawlessly while looking clean and great. Highly recommend!

Will this 9-inch box fit the One Connect for your Samsung Frame TV? It depends... it depends on how you are hanging this box (horizontally or vertically) and which side of the box your power is coming in from. The reason it depends is b/c the Samsung box fits very snug in this enclosure, so there is little room for error when you factor in the different cables. For example, if you are mounting this enclosure vertically and your power outlets are coming in from the bottom of the enclosure, this 9" enclosure will not work. This is because the One Connect cable (One Invisible) port on the One Connext box is on the lower end of the box and when plugged in, the cable protrudes over the power outlets and would make it almost impossible to then connect the box's power. If, however, your power outlets were coming in from the top of this enclosure, the 9" version would work. All in all, I went with the 17" version b/c of the above. In addition, the 17" version provides more room for cable management and anything you may want to add down the road.

These boxes are awesome. I used it to fit a fiber ONT, UniFi 8 port POE lite switch, and UniFi cloud gateway max. The knockouts for outlet boxes fit standard METAL 2x3 inch switch boxes of your choice of depth. Use #6 sheet metal screws to secure. The plastic zip boxes do not work. Also, it is equipped with knockouts that fit 1.5” or 1” conduit.
