Worked eventually
It's a useful tool but the drain I needed it for was installed crooked and had extra caked on dry junk that was making it a very tough 25 year old drain to remove. [ended up using my crafting heat gun to aide us, and holy cow, we got it out!] Mother and daughter working together, wrench and screwdriver and Tub Remover tool + heat gun.

Great TOOL
What’s not to like? It’s affordable (cheap) and did the job! I had a Chrome tub drain which for some reason had deteriorated over the past 20 years. I attempted to remove it using the handles of a pair of pliers as many videos have stated to no avail. I purchased this tool and viola nice steady torque removed the old drain and made installing the replacement a cinch. I’ll be glad to loan you mine as I don’t see changing a lot of tub drains in my future…

It really works!
Our main bathroom is used by three girls and the bathtub drain would ALWAYS back up. I saw this on a video online and it worked exactly as advertised. The first cleaning looked like I was pulling a werewolf out of the drain but after that, very easy and low maintenance cleaning that saves so much time and money since we were going through a bottle of Drain-O every week. Highly recommend!

Std shower drain removal/intall tool.
Attempted to use to remove pop-up in bath tub. Cross was corroded out and drain was frozen in place. Required a Dremel Tool to cut and weaken prior to twisting out old thread. (See U-tube video's on pop-up removal). Used this tool to install new drain (with much grease on threads for easy removal 10 years from now when new pop-up corrodes out again.

Great!
Works great and a good price for something I won't use that often.
