First of all it was much smaller than I expected. The return process was horrible gave me a label told me to bring it to FedEx and FedEx wouldn’t take it I eventually kept it gave it away and I will never buy anything from Lakeside collection again

I had an original THICK clay mini porch Chimenea from Mexico that recently broke. I used it thousands of times for actual heat! That Chimenea lasted Colorado winters for 20 years. It was 5.00. I searched for 6 months for a new one. Hard to find. VERY hard to find. I ended up buying this one becauseI need one. It's made in china. Top heavy (for the actual stand it sits on), it is thin, way thin, may not even be made of clay. Way, WAY OVER PRICED AS SUCH for both size and material. I will try it but honestly I don't expect much life out of it. Super thin. Very expensive and would not recommend.

Don't waste your money on this or the "cast iron" versions offered by other sites. Got one from bestnest and it claimed to be cast iron came with a decent chip and it definitely wasnt anything more than pot metal. This clay chiminea is so light weight and the materials are so sus. Im sure it works but im too grossed out to use either one or send them back.

If it were made in Mexico or the US, it would probably be of better quality and last longer but as most things made in CCP, it just falls apart in a couple of months, wouldn't recommend for fires or outdoor use, makes a better planter indoors than actual Chimenea!

I kept the product, but it is too small to do much heating. The stand is not as study as expected, but if you are only heating a small space, it is ok.
