The replacement spools works well. Because it is a small spool for the 8 inch weed wacker, it gets used up quickly. But, since these can’t be bought in our local stores, this is a great deal.

Perfect for what I needed.

This little trimmer really works well. I have owned this one for 4 years now and it still works great on light to medium weedy areas. The spool lasts a long time, at least a couple seasons of trimming. One charge of the battery last for about 20 mins of trimming which for me is around two large flower beds, the weeds around my shed, the walk around one side of my garage and along my deck.It is very light weight and easy to handle.

It was so very tiny it didn’t fit the Toro trimmer. I returned it without opening.

It’s an authentic refill designed for grass trimmer by Toro.

We use our trimmer so much that we wore a hole in the bumper on this spool and the spring fell out. The biggest problem I had was trying to determine if this would fit my model trimmer. It did, and was an exact replacement. My model is 51464 8" cordless. The Toro packaging says it will also fit models 51241,51460,and 51467. I got the correct spring (and a replacement cap) also from Amazon (with Prime) under Toro part number 88027. I hope this info saves someone some time and frustration.
