Fun game for the entire family!
I received this game a month or so back and have enjoyed it ever since. My six year old enjoys playing "the dungeon game" Set up is really easy and the cards are simple for children and adults to identify. You don't even have to clear the entire board in a game session if you choose not to. The game fosters problem solving and cooperation, which is also nice. I appreciate that they have a lot of female characters so that its not all just boys. They all look tough and intelligent so my son doesn't say things like, "I don't want to play the girl character" because they are literally all good characters.

Great beginner game for young fantasy game fans.
My kids both love this game! I highly recommend it for families with kids under teenage years.I was worried this might be a bit of a boring game for parents, as it is quite simplified. However, I enjoy playing it too! Each turn goes fast, so no one is sitting around long. Additionally, we like to add in a little roleplay, like making up stories for how we scare off the monsters. ("I turn into a mongoose and try to eat the snake. It runs away screaming "Don't eat meeeeee!"")The game is designed to encourage cooperation and success. The first two sections are easier, and give more resources than it takes. This helps all players do well in the harder section. This helps my kids, who are very competitive, feel successful, even if they don't win in the end.

Great dungeon crawler for kids!
I got this game as it seemed a good way to introduce my young son into dungeon crawler games. I am a big gamer and love dungeon crawlers. Most recommend the age to be 14+. This is a good way for young kids to play and good for a family game night. My wife is jot a hug gamer buy finds this game fun for the family.Players are on the same side as they make their way through the dungeon stopping monsters by flipping a tile and using cards with abilities to "scare" them away. If you don't have the correct abilities from your cards you just move along and another player can move into tile to "scare " the monster away.Game has quest tokens that have players try to complete for extra bonuses. Once completed, you can get a new quest. Easy for kids to learn as my son was 7.Game comes with cardboard standees, but also plastic stands for player characters.

My Kids LOVE it, and its fun for me too!
This game is great! You know its a winner when your 5 year old is begging you to play again as soon as it's over... Playing Quest Kids has become a carrot I dangle as a reward for good behavior. The rules are straight forward, but not mindless, and it really does introduce a lot of mechanics that kids will see in later games.A WONDERFUL STARTING POINT FOR GAMERS!I am not sure what the other reviewer was talking about regarding not having enough resources to defeat the monsters at the end: I basically just supervise sometimes and my 5 year old is able to clear the dungeon (she can actually do a lot of the setup on her own and knows all the rules well enough to explain to friends). I actually think its wonderfully balanced to where we usually have JUST enough cards to get the last monster. The large components are really cool, and the TREASURE BAG is a big hit (see photo of us set up for the final quest in the Tolk the Wise expansion). This is a really great way to get your kids off the screen, and around the table and interacting with you and having fun. Can't recommend enough! I have already given 2 copies as gifts to friends with kids because I enjoyed playing with my kids so much. The Trials of Tolk the Wise expansion adds a lot to the game as well. Tells a whole story and adds cool mechanics.

Fun and easy
This game is fun and easy to learn and set up. Pretty quick to play as well, so it works for short attention spans. Also encourages looking out and helping others (play with, and not against). I will be looking into getting the expansions, I think.

Kid didn't want to stop, we had to play over and over again
This game is fun and simplistic. My 4 year old loved it and we even took it with us camping. He was able to teach is aunts and uncles how to play with him (they're close to the same age)

As a dad and previous Magic the Gathering and AD&D gamer, love with kiddo!
I grew up playing Magic, AD&D and random role-play games, this takes me back and I have FUN. VERY much reminds me of Heros Quest (I'm bowing in reverence at the mention...), and in fact a search for that yielded this game, and I read the snipped, saw the reviews, took a chance. Best christmas gift ever, allowing fun, connection, imagination, and an entrance to what I had been hoping to be able to share with my kids later. I never imagined I could find something like this that I could do with my 7-8yo that would interest me just as much. I'm sold. Can't wait for the book series, and to get BOTH my daughters involved. Love live geeks!

Arrived promptly in good condition. Fun game - kids love it.
Good introduction to tabletop gaming for younger kids. My kids love playing it. You can make it easier/harder.........each game is 20-30 minutes long which is just right.
