Sweet little unit. Beware top vent will splash out unless you add a length of fuel hose
PRO: Side tabs make it easy to mount anywhere with a little creative use of angle brackets. The cap fits snugly. The fuel nipple is built in so you don't have to drill, tap, and seal a new nipple. Very simple. The translucent sides make it easy to see how much fuel you have left.Works well with diesel or gas.It doesn't leak, as long as you address the seam issue all these tanks have.CON: (not a big deal) Like most tanks, this is heat-welded from two halves, so there's a seam. The only places this matters are nipple at the bottom and the capped opening on top. Both have a slight ridge on them, which will cause a leaky connection out of the box. But if you're the kind of person who's installing a mini gas tank somewhere, you're more than capable of removing this bit of soft plastic. For the nipple, carefully trim away the ridge with a razor blade and sand the stem with 400 grit sandpaper to make a perfectly round surface to clamp your fuel line to.For the threaded cap, all you need to worry about is the top surface, which you can easily get flat using the same methods.PRO TIP: This tank is vented so fuel can be replaced by air when it draws down, but the vent is pretty rudimentary: A simple hole in the cap with a little nipple where you can slip a 1/4" fuel line onto it. Which you should do, and have it go up in the air a few inches, ending in a few coils. This will ensure that if you're off-roading over bumps and so forth, the little splashes of fuel just go into the fuel line then drain back down into the tank. If you just use the bare cap, fuel can spill right out, especially if you overturn.WISH: I wish I could've found a slightly larger tank (like 2L) that would fit in my application (under the hood), but this little tank is perfect in every other way.

Fast shipping
Fast shipping and good price. Purchased this for a small portable generator just incase my repair on my old gas tank failed. My repair has so far held up so I have not used this new tank yet. I will use it on some other project. It appears of good quality.

Robust but odd
Very small. Used on motorized bike. Fitting size does not match motorized bike carburetor. I had to get creative. But it works.

Barely fits onto pocket bike
Good tank built solid.. didn't fit onto bike or fuel line correctly. After some mods and shaving it worked fine.

Cracked
Put gas in it and it leaked. There is a small crack in the bottom. It's useless. I'd like a refund!

Cute little tank
You might find it is smaller than you are expecting. I can imagine it in a small drone or similar.
