I have never purchased shoes online for the obvious fear ... and until I got them I was very apprehensive ... but when I got them and put them on my feet ... wow ... I was so impressed with the look and feel of the Brown color ... that I purchased a black pair too. (You can never have too many black dress shoes in my profession ... lol). The cushion inside gives you nice comfort as I stand for hours at a time.

Have I done a review like this on a pair of dress shoes or make them casual with one hell of a FIT! The nicest sweetest pair to own they are all of that and more not shown. These pair of shoes can do no wrong they fit better than any I've ever known. They fit so perfect and for the price get a pair of these and experience something above "nice". Maybe I just got lucky with my choice anyone who has been ;itching about these lovely shoes their comfort that make your feet move with a light step and a comfortable walk these beauties have that natural spark their flair and the like once out of the box they fit like a head on a spike from an observers point of few these dark shiny beauties might be for you. Yes a poet and I know it and with these shoes the smile of my face it shows it.Another happy Author of Horror these shoes while I write will stand on the floor. Boo! LOL

Ok, arguably the better bang for buck. There is a minor oder to the shoes. But that comes with anything new. The other reviews where someone purchased a shoe and complained about a chemical smell.... just let them air out, you will be fine. Stop being a dramatic snowflake people, if you can smell then you are doing fine these days.I have owned several pairs of leather shoes and boots. I am no means of authority, but I do have experience. At 280lbs & 5'10" I got a 12W, fits like your average dress shoe so far. Minor stiffness, will be worked out. I anticipate the painted finish bottom to erode away showing rubber for grip, helping with traction and slipping issues. I DO NOT have to stretch or really break in the shoe. I had a German set of shoes and dress boots. No matter what they are tight. No matter what you can feel everything, you can almost step on a coin and read the year.I do have a heel spur & a lower back injury. I do not feel any pressures in the heel, and the back in ok for now. The foot actually feels ok, ill have to do a longer test tomorrow. Run around the mall or something.I plan on wearing these with jeans and a phase out other sneakers and shoes, so ill be abusing these pretty often. I plan on dealing with trainers and dress/casual shoes. Shorts with running shoes until I get used to five finger shoes. Ill update later if anything develops, to include the wear

Let's start with the good stuff.I get a lot of compliments on these shoes, sometimes by random women. I'm not sure how my wife feels about that, but guys are not often complimented so I'll take it. They are comfortable, fit well, and have more cushion in them than my last pair. The toe box gives me enough wiggle-room and nothing is cramped.I had a similar pair (different brand) which lasted for about six years until I felt like replacing them because I was wearing through the heel. That pair initially smelled awful until I let them air out for weeks, but this shoe did not have any unusual odors. The box they were contained in had a hole in the side (intentionally) which may have helped any sort of off-gassing stuff to escape.I'm not sure how well they will hold up. As expected, there are some creases forming between the toe box and the throat of the shoe. The sole of the shoe is a similar color to the top of the shoe, and it's quickly started to wear which shows the black rubber underneath. This makes me question how long this part will last or why it was decorative in the first place.Overall, these are fantastic. They are comfortable, look stylish (even in jeans), and I've received many compliments on them. I'm not sure how long they will last, but at $40 I'm happy with the purchase. My wife might think otherwise if random women keep telling me that they like my shoes. :-)

When I bought this, I was expecting them to wear quickly like all of my other dress shoes do! But these shoes are very well made! I have worn them a lot, and there is almost no wear on them at all, whereas shoes I had in the past that cost $80+ would have looked awful at that point! These shoes also look very nice! Not extremely comfortable, but very durable

Nice shoe. Get compliments al the time on the look. They feel great too. Just a little discomfort at the ball of foot after a few hours of wear, but fixed with insoles. Would buy again, especially in navy blue, or gray.

Shoes look good and fit snug on my feet. I wish it was made with softer fabric with more cushioning around the heel.

Unfortunately whilst they look great these are a really narrow fit. If you have slightly wider feet then I suggest these are not for you. I had forgotten how hard it is breaking in a new hard leather pair of shoes and these are no exception. The backs are really hard so be prepared for blisters on ankles unless you use lots of plasters. However I am persevering with them and will break them in. Many companies now have their shoes made in China (where these are made) and they often come up slightly small. Had a pair of DM boots just the same. However once broken in I was happy as Larry with them. The DM's that is. Jury still out on these shoes though. This is an honest appraisal.

They fit fine and sizes are accurate and look good. The issue I have had is that they arrived yesterday, I wore today to work and the pictures show how the nice colour and design has already worn off. This is after walking to the car, then into the office. If I had walked miles on concrete or footpath or if I had an abnormal walk then I could understand the soles being worn fast but not just being today and what I have actually walked. Really nice shoe and design and I would happily have again providing the sole is better.

Lets be honest, for this price, on the high streetyou would be luck to fine a really basic direct molded sole shoe to last 6 months regular wear, so these are already a winner, comfy, wooden heel ! put stick on soles and heels before 1st wear and i would expect at least a year. stylish yes !just dont expect to pay less than £40 and get hand made, bespoke level with hand stick and virgin cattle hide. these are machine waybe mass produced, the leather is low to mid quality und soles are syntheitic. My dad was a shoemaker and if you want leather sole, heel and upper, hand stitched, made to measure and guaranteed, you will be looking at 40X this price. The box for my uk size 10 and the soles showed US size 11. they fit and were comfy out of the box and complimented my suits. no complaints, i am not one who pays for cotton and complains when i dont get silk. I WOULD BUY AGAIN BUT NEVER HAVE THE SAME SHOE TWICE AT THE SAME TIME.

The product is described as faux leather with a wooden sole, but on arrival the label shows they do contain leather- even though the upper is faux. WHY is there a need for any leather in this shoe? I only purchased because they were NOT made of leather, so I was disgusted when they arrived and the label said leather. Obviously sent them straight back.

These shoes look great - I'm on my 5th pair from the same brand.You do get what you pay for though as I note that they wear very quickly.I have shoes that cost 5 times as much and you notice the difference in amount of wear time until the heal is worn down from contacting the floor.This particular pair arrived with the insole glued incorrectly so has a lump in them! Not very comfortable at all. Was going to return them but just don't have the time these days.
