1603-2RS Ball Bearing 5/16" x 7/8"x 11/32" Radial Ball Bearing Rubber Sealed and Pre-Lubricated with Grease

Needed a new pulley for my shopsmith strip sander. Old one had copper sleeve that was getting extremely hot. The new pulley I made with these bearing works great. I ran at 2k rpm for about 40 minutes and the bearing stayed cool and worked well.

I bought these to go on the drawers of an old steel desk, the plastic rollers were broken, I riveted them on and they work awesome, great quality

The inner diameter of these Donepart brand bearings is 0.309 to 0.310 inches, which is too small to fit on a 5/16th inch bearing rod. Bearing rod is ground to 0.3125 inches, so these bearings will not fit unless the rod is ground 3 to 4 thousandths of an inch thinner. I don't have precision grinding equipment capable of doing that, so this was purchase total waste of money. I am making a note of this and will try another brand so I can complete my project.
