Pro: This Steam Punk watch was a gift for my boyfriend and he is absolutely thrilled with the looks, build quality is solid, see-through movement both front and back. The gold glitters inside and out in both daylight and soft lighting.He has only had it for a week, but reports it's keeping excellent time. He takes great pleasure in winding it twice a day, about 10 turns each time, as was recommended by the seller. The watch has a wood look circular band that was not reddish as shown in the photo, but a deep dark wood color instead. That could be why someone returned it and it was sold "as new in original packaging" for a few dollars off. I'm always happy to save a few dollars!Con: None yet. I can't comment on the durability yet, but it's so beautiful that I think it's a great value. Personally, I would like to purchase it again if it's ever available with a battery option also. Recommended!

Before I review this product I want to dispel an error that I noticed in the questions about this product. Someone stated that they were disappointed that the watch face had a mistake on it. The mistake being it uses iiii instead of iv to notate the "4" position on the face. This is not a mistake. Every watch face that I have seen or can think of uses iiii instead of iv. This is a tradition that goes back centuries. The reason for it is somewhat unclear but their seem to be 3 main ideas.1) iv has not always represented 4. This is mainly a modern times notation. Why I don't know but some say they did not use IV since it had to do with the god Jupiter.2) There's a story about King Louis XIV that says he insisted it should be the other way and made a clock maker change it. I find this hard to believe as this type of watch face existed before King Louis XIV.3) Another common reason is that it's for aesthetics/symmetry.I am not sure what the real reason is but I do know that when it comes to Roman numeral watch faces, iiii is the correct way to mark "4". This watch DOES NOT have an error on its face.Regarding the review of the watch itself... This watch is surprisingly heavy and well built. The wood grain look is lighter than pictured but still very beautiful. The cut out in front and back add to the styling and seeing the inner workings is stunning. Retro is in right now. This pocket watch is definitely eye catching and unique. For the money, the quality is amazing.

Ordered this for my teenage son. Such a fun pocket watch for a reasonable price. Great quality and he is able to work on it if he needs to!

The media could not be loaded. So far I love it! The time once set is accurate, the weight and feel of it is very nice, easy to wind, and the movement inside is mesmerizing.

Love the way this looks and feels has a good weight to it but stopped working a few weeks after buying which disappointed me

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought it would be a good a nice watch but I am disappointed with this watch. It's a waste of money. So I want my money back.Watch quality:was wrong .

Got tired of changing out the battery on the electric watch. So I bought a winder, and I'm very satisfied with this one. Keeps time very well.
