I wasn’t really convinced these would work well on purchasing - I only really bought them for the white as I wanted to do a skeleton face for Halloween but they’re brilliant. Not only did the white work on the black (you have to go over it a few times but that’s to be expected) I couldn’t resist testing the colours on his white patch, which you can see from the photo was very vibrant!

They work okay for price paid. It's like an oil pastel paint you draw onto fur and personally found that it feels sticky to the touch after, even if brushed in. The pens break really easily and also tend to pick up a lot of fur on them. It also comes off withing 1-3 days without bathing, with most of it off within 1 day. It is possible on dark coated dogs, but doesn't show the best. Does show better on lighter dogs. I would say for both you need to use a lot to get a strong colour. I used on both a wirey long-haired dog, silky long-haired dog, double coated and really short/singled coated dog; this was the case for all coat types. It's also really hard if trying to get a detailed drawing type design or want to colour an block area in as pens do not reliably come out. Sometimes leaves chunks behind. I would say for a small bit of fun, they work okay. Just got them to colour my dog for a fun show, I have a very well behaved Whippet that will just sleep and let me colour him. I wouldn't suggest these if you have a dog that wont stand still/wouldn't enjoy it.

Expensive waxy crayons! They do colour pure white angora cat fur, but you have to repeatedly stroke away to actually leave colour, unfortunately the colour does smudge on any furnishings and your clothes if you pet your cat. The colour does run in any rain or wet grass too. Not exactly how the description portrays the crayons either. The colours are nice and there is no scent. Very disappointing for the price. Not what you expect from a well established name. I would not recommend other than for child’s play. Not a professional quality item.

Bought to identify black puppies but did not work on dark coat. Worked on white and light coats.

I'm not sure what's going on. They're advertised as self sealing but despite having done my dog over 24 hours ago he's getting the dye everywhere! It hasn't sealed at all despite being advertised as such.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product but knew the brand had a good reputation for quality products safe for dogs. Also, the price was cheap enough that it seemed worth trying. The color pens are kind of like soft crayons or human make-up cream color sticks. This makes them very easy to use and not at all messy. I noticed absolutely no odor and minimal residue with application. The colors went on bright and showed up perfectly on the white blaze on my dogs chest and worked really well on his tan fur, too! My dog sleeps with me and I did notice a little tinge of color on my navy blue comforter. I’m guessing it would be more noticeable on lighter fabrics. I didn’t see any other transfer on furniture or carpets and it washed right out of my bedding. I’m guessing if I’d wiped off excess after applying, it wouldn’t have been a problem. A few days after applying with virtually no fading, my dog got into something toxic and I ended up needing to bathe him a couple of times right away. The first wash faded the color to a pretty pastel version. The second wash faded it to a very light hint of color. It’s been a few days and still has that pale rainbow tint. It’s been over a week and I’ve seen no sign of any skin irritation or any indication that this bothered my dog in any way. I still haven’t used the white or metallic shades. I’m curious how they might work on darker areas. It was worth every penny and I’m already planning my dog’s next color pattern!

Incroyable, j'ai pu m'amuser avec mes chats par contre ne vous attendez pas a quelque chose qui compte rester cest un peu comme si on met des pastels gras si le chat se toilette alors ca partira et loin des 3 lavage plutot en seulement 1 lavage, a part ca je suis satisfaite j'ai vraiment pu rire avec eux en simulant un maquillage il y a meme pas besoin dappuyer fort pour impregner la couleur donc tout a pu etre fait sans gène avec des petits ronrons, voila 😅

Works well on short coats however it doesn’t work as well as they claim on the longer coats Once the dogs coat is about 1inch long it becomes less effective

Die Stifte lassen sich gut auftragen. Anfangs leicht feucht, trocknet schnell. Effekt hält nicht so wahnsinnig lange, aber als Gag wirklich richtig süß.
