Good product, easy install

This fit my 2005 ranger 500. Installed in 20 minutes. The additional height should help with ground clearance down hill over rocks. Product is solid!

Don't waste your money!

This was not as easy as they said it was. Once I finally got them in after 3 hours my Fourwheeler broke. The front axels came out when I turned. I didn't think I needed longer axels as it wasn't stated when I bought the product but wish I would have known. Spent 40 to turn around and spend 500.

Great addition to my 2005 Polaris Ranger 6x6

This is a solid option to choose for about a 1.5" to 2" lift. The tools needed were supposed to be a 10mm wrench and a 19mm wrench. Mind you, my buggy is 12 years old, parts don't come off like they used to. The 10mm ended up being 3/8" and 19mm ended up being an adjustable wrench. Either way, it worked out. You're only removing the 19mm nut, the 10mm (3/8") nut is just to hold the strut in place while you loosen the 19mm nut. Remove the nut and then the washer and plastic spacers under the nut. Now just jack up the front and let the suspension hang. You will have to jack the buggy up a good bit to give you clearance to insert the spacer between the strut and the body. There is a another plastic spacer directly on top of the strut that you will remove before installing the new BlackPath spacer in its place. Put that same plastic spacer on the new BlackPath spacer. You will thread the new spacer onto the strut's existing threaded rod and tighten down. The BlackPath spacer has what looks like about a 1.5" piece of all thread, this is the new threaded rod for your 19mm nut. From the top of the strut hole, hand thread the rod into the new spacer, this will help with alignment as you lower the buggy. Make sure your plastic spacer is on the new BlackPath spacer before lowering. Once lowered, the threaded rod should be showing through and you can now put the plastic spacers that you removed before jacking up the buggy, back on. Then, the washer, then the 19mm nut. Tighten the nut and go for a ride. Let the suspension settle and retighten the nut. Don't trip getting in and out of the buggy.

cv boot clearance.

the product was very good. easy to install. and well built. only thing is . it makes your cv boots a little clos to the bottom of the shock mount. so keep an eye on that.
