Sirena Vacuum Cleaner – Water Filtration, 2-Speed, Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Allergy/Pet Pro

So, what kind of person pays almost 900 dollars for a vacuum cleaner?!?!?!? I never thought I would. However, the ongoing struggle of dog hair and hardwood floors PLUS an aversion to cleaning made this girl consider the Sirena Vacuum.It's like this -- a bunch of years ago, my uncle sold Rainbow vacuums - you know, the kind that uses water to suck up the bad stuff so you can wash all of it away when you're done. But has anyone ever priced those Rainbow vacuums??? Shazaam, they're expensive - like three times more than the already-pricey Sirena.However, I really did like that water concept and, when I stumbled upon the Sirena, I was curious enough to want to try it. The fact that Sirena was a new company made me a little nervous, I ain't gonna lie. Yet, could that new company try that much harder to win my loyalty? Might be worth a shot.I ordered the vacuum, or rather the home cleaning system, back in April of 2015. Just figuring out how to put it all together was quite an epic struggle. The company relies heavily on users watching their quite detailed videos on youtube. Did I do that? Whoops -- not until I got a little stuck and may or may not have assembled it incorrectly.So, Sirena and I may not have had the best introduction to one another. And, truthfully, words like 'light' and 'compact' would never describe this machine. 'Well-made' and 'heavy duty' are more like it. Which is exactly what I needed for the dust bowl that was my house. Did I mention my aversion to cleaning? I finally wrestled that sucker into submission and managed that first vacuum.And what a first vacuum it was - ew! Water should never be that dirty and my mother would have disowned me if she had seen the condition of that basin. I'm pretty sure it picked up hair from my dog and all of my other dogs from years ago!Over a year has passed and I can put together the Sirena without watching the Youtube videos now. And, truly, my house feels cleaner than ever before. That's not just a line from an infomercial - it is true. That vacuum has picked up a lot of dog hair and has cleaned my furniture, walls, ceiling fans, car, and even dusted my furniture.One caveat - I do not own carpet, only hardwood and vinyl floors. My one complaint is that I can't use it for a quick picker-upper sort of job because of its heftiness and the process of filling up the basin, etc. Yes, that has become much easier but still impractical for a spill. But I just use my broom and dust pan then save the bigger jobs for Sirena.Thank you for your patience in reading this really long review. I hope it helps!

I have had my Sirena for 8 months and absolutely love it! I am amazed every time I use it at the suction power and the dust and dirt it picks up. We use it to vacuum the furniture, hardwood floors, rugs, shelves and our cars as well. Several attachments are included as well as a separate attachment hose for wet spill pick up.***I wasn't really in the market for a new vacuum, but a friend of mine purchased a Rainbow and kept talking about how much it helps with allergies. I decided to participate in a demo for the Rainbow. I got turned off initially due to the fact that they were adamant about my husband being present for the demo. Like I am not capable of making a decision or able to purchase without his permission? During the demo, I was very surprised to see how much dust the Rainbow picked up in my house. We were impressed and leaning towards purchasing one UNTIL we heard the 3K price tag (no thank you, I'd rather take a trip somewhere). I started researching for other water filter vacuum options and found the Sirena with a much lower price tag! I read sevaral detailed reviews comparing sirena vs rainbow before buying. I cannot be more pleased with this product and highly recommend.

I bought this because it works on the same premise as the Rainbow. I have 3 dogs and lots of dog hair - yes we get those doggy tumbleweeds. I wasn't concerned with its ability to vaccumm liquids - I have a wet/dry vac. I spend more time clearing cloggs in the hose than I ever have. I am back to my shark that beats this hands down for suction power. Not a happy with the value for the dollar.

Hose is not flexible, cord is short, no hand switche

I had a rainbow vac. Years ago & I’ve missed it. We have central vac but I prefer the Serina water vac. This has gray suction, lots of tools & it’s amazing how much dirt, dust, allergens, odor etc out & keep your home clean at the same time. I love the scent “ocean” it freshens up my house. Be careful which one you buy! One comes with extra water tank, oils, & ocean for the same price as the one I bought & I paid extra for the extra tank, oils, & ocean

Too much hassle to bring out and in

I purchased because I love the water pan theory that Rainbow Vacuums use. I actually thought this was a rainbow. It works like one. I love the product and I had a faulty floor piece and had a new one delivered within a week. No questions asked.

We have gone through two water basins and getting ready to have to purchase the 3rd replacement since we bought in 2020. They all keep cracking. I wish I had spent the extra money and just bought a rainbow
