Rustic Square Lag Screws, Ruspert Weatherproof Coating, Black Exterior Lag Bolts, 3/8 x 1 1/2-Inch, (Pack of 25)

I had the doors on my backyard shed widened to accommodate my 54" Zero Turn Mower. I had the doors open to pull the mower out and a couple gusts of wind ripped the top hinges out of both of my doors. I purchased these Lag Srews and secured the hinges with these much beefier fasteners and they worked perfectly. The doors are solid now and I don't expect to run into this issue again.

pretty basic, black lag screws. the only reason I did not give a 5 was the black came off at the corners even though I was careful about putting them in by running a standard (not black) lag bolt in the hole first. I needed to touch up the corners with a black marker

Pre drilled for going into a stud. I used my drill with a socket and 3/8 drive for lag bolts but set my torque on the drill so I did not over tighten and crack drywall. Finished tightening with a wrench so each lag bolt was snug attaching floating shelves. Dewalt cordless 20v and torque set at 9 to run the bolts in. Then finished with a wrench.

Had some problems with quanity in the package, this company contacted me and made it right.

Liked all about this product. Used to build antique light fixture.

USed in a poolside Cabana. Really like the finish
