Compared to the loose leaf version, these are quite bland. Still good, but with more flavorful options.

Very nice flavor, not bitter or strong. I enjoy it with a little honey and cream.

I got the Pu-ehr tea. I was expecting a fermented deep earthy flavor and instead was met with a light floral black tea. It's my fault for not seeing if it was ripened or not, and assuming it was. Overall not a bad tea, just not my cup is all.

I have no idea what this is. It's unlike any Pu'erh, black or green, I have ever tasted. It makes a faint, barely colored water that tastes just like that...water. I even increased the ratio by 50% and it was still weak looking and tasting. I've had delicate, mild green tea more flavorful and colorful than this abomination. I ended up throwing the whole bag out. I can't understand it. I've bought many products from this company and have never had a problem. This is the second time I have purchased this product from them, thinking the first time was a fluke. Not so. I have absolutely no idea what this stuff is or why it is so weak and without flavor. I've opened the bags and the contents look like brown tea leaves; but, it will not brew up as such. If you want a an excellent, full-flavored Pu'erh, buy the Numi Emperor's Pu'erh.

This product was told to me from a asian woman i know. I took a chance on it and found it a very good choice. Nice flavor and its suppose to have health benefits, as i was told. Does it , hard to say. I haven’t ran any marathons because of it. Thats is all i can say.

I've really grown fond of Pu'erh tea and have been having a cup almost daily. I ordered this because I was going through it so fast and it came with 100 bags and the price was good. I'm really disappointed by the flavor of this tea. The Pu'erh tea I'm used to has a bold, smoky flavor and is dark, almost the color of coffee. You could get a few cups out of ONE tea bag. This tea is a light brown color and has a weak flavor, no matter how long I steep it (even if I use 2-3 bags in a cup!). It's not an unpleasant taste, it's just weak and bland. Now I'm stuck with all these tea bags and don't know what to do with them. They also are not individually wrapped so I can't leave them in the office kitchen or give them to others. I'm going to have to go back to buying Kiss Me Organic's Pu-erh Detox tea. It's $14.99 for 20 bags so it's expensive but the flavor is so superior and so delicious.

I have been happily drinking Numi puerh prior to this, but it was getting expensive for 16 bags. This one has very good reviews, so I decided to try it. Not quite as smooth as Numi, but it is good- nothing a tad bit of honey couldn't fix. I also don't have to go to the store every week to replenish my supply. I aappreciate that their tea is certified organic, uses no extra packaging, and the tea bags are dye, chlorine, and glue free. If you are just now trying puerh tea and are no quite sure you will like it, start with a small package like numi to see if you like it first. Then graduated up to this big boy. I've read that it is an acquired taste, so give it a chance.
