Easy to use, bench-mount a real positive, pro-level crimps.
The IWISS iCrimp Bench Mounted Wire Rope Swaging Tool is an excellent choice for anyone in need of a versatile and reliable wire rope swaging tool. This tool can crimp aluminum sleeves and annealed copper loops ranging from 3/64 to 1/8-inch.One of the great things about this tool is its ease of use. Its bench-mounted design provides stability, while the ergonomic handles make crimping a breeze. Plus, the high-quality materials used to build this tool seem to ensure its durability; I did several dozen 1/8" aluminum crimps for a project this past weekend and it only got easier and better with practice, and the crimps are so professional (I am not) looking. On the downside, this tool should really only be used with bench-mounted applications in order to prevent movement (it doesn't have a ton of substance on its own). Additionally, it may take some time to get used to the crimping process, especially if you're new to wire rope swaging; but that has little to do with this product which makes the learning curve easier.Overall, I highly recommend this tool for anyone who needs a reliable and efficient wire rope swaging tool. Its versatility, ease of use, and durability make it a smart investment for any DIY enthusiast or professional, despite its limitations (which are really more safety minded conveniences)

Works well but wider Jaws than Nicopress or Loos crimpers.
This tool works well and the crimped sleeves fit properly in the Loos go-no-go gauge I use. What is significantly different from aircraft crimp tools that I am familiar with is the width of the jaws. The jaws on this tool is approximately .070" wider than the jaws on my Loos brand crimper. On a standard 1/8" copper sleeve (18-4-M Nicopress Sleeve) this results in the crimped areas touching each other. It does not produce the classic three crimps with the sleeve being a larger diameter between the crimps and at the ends as is shown in the ad for this product.I had no problem using this tool on a work bench without it being attached to the bench. It is certainly easier to use that a standard crimper where you really need three hands.I do not have the equipment to do pull test cables made with this tool. It would be interesting to know how the crimps with this tool fare in a pull test.Overall a good tool. I don't think i am ready to use it for aircraft control cables with out doing some more research and testing.

Works As Advertised - But Expensive
This is a new tool for me... have never used one. This crimper is larger than I expected, but that is not an issue. It is easy to use... doesn’t require a lot of force. I will say, it is easier to use if it is mounted to your bench... but can still be used if not mounted. The unit functions as advertised, and my quick test worked out great. The price is high for me... though it is a quality tool.

Works great, not exactly compact
I have been using this for a few days now and it hasn't let me down. It feels sturdy and doesn't seem to be wearing out at all. It says it's compact, but it isn't. It's over a foot long. That is compact compared to an F-350, but it's not exactly the smallest thing on my bench.Using it isn't all that difficult. If are are smaller or maybe have some strength issues, you'll probably want the one with the longer handle for extra leverage. You can always put a cheater bar around the handle on the smaller one if you need though. It doesn't require a ton of force, but if you have arthritis in your wrists, you might not want to push that hard.

easy crimping
This crimping tool works just as it should. I did mount it to a work bench in my shop, and it is only about 12 inches long, so its not in the way either. It is made really well and feels strong enough to crimp the sleeves over the cable very easily. I made a few test crimps and I have to say I can not find anything to complain about yet. Seems well worth the price and will be a great addition to my shop.

Well Built and Good Action
iCrimp Bench Mounted is very well made. The unit is solid and the blue grip handle is sturdy and can take all the pressure you need to complete the crimp process no mater what size cable you are crimping. in the third picture the blue handle needs to be push down another four inches then what is showed. The jaws are solid and it easily perform the task of crimping cable from solar sail to deck rails. The base has mounting holes for you to mount for bigger projects but base on size you may not need it. Fast shipping

Serious Crimper
I have been avoiding doing my own cables because I did not have a really good crimping tool. I had a smaller hand held one but could not get anywhere near the pressure I can with this bench mounted model. I do scenery for theater and business conferences and often need to hang things securely over a stage. Now I have the tool to do this in house.

amazingly strong and accurate crimper
This is much bigger in person than it appears in photos. The perfect crimp every time, with leverage handle push makes it very easy to use and get the perfect crimp every time.
