We searched for a dining room ceiling light for three years and even purchased one that didn't really work in our home after we installed it. I selected this just to get an idea of what would look good, intending to return it. We really like it and it is installed and fitting very well with our decor. We are now searching for and even changing our thoughts about furniture around the light. Very reasonable price and much easier to install than we expected. I recommend this if it fits your design scheme or even inspires one.

It truly is a beautiful piece. I give it five stars just for that even though it had several defective parts we discovered during assembly. There was no returning at that point so we improvised and made things fit. We did have to make a trip to our hardware store as well and buy decorative nuts that hold the whole thing to the ceiling, because the original ones came mismatched. Assembling the shell pieces was time consuming but super easy. Only a couple of those strings were defective out of a whole bunch, and there are extras.

This is an extremely attractive light fixture that illuminates the area over our dining room table beautifully. We're quite happy with it. Installation of the unit required two ladders and two people due to its considerable weight. A well-supported ceiling fan box is essential to provide sufficient holding power. Anything less may not hold it up. For insurance I added a lag screw at each end of the fixture's ceiling p!ate secured to ceiling joists. Since hanging it, we're very happy with it!

This is a beautiful piece! The base wasn’t quite the color I was looking for, so I used spray paint for metal (black glass) & I love the look! It was fairly easy to install. It took us approximately 45 minutes? I always receive compliments on it. I love this light fixture!!

I love this fixture. I had to have my electrician install the basic fixture because it was more involved than a simple install, but I hung all the shells, which were beautifully packed. I mostly use this fixture on a dimmer because it is really bright when full on. I love the quality of light through the shells. Excellent price as well. Great value.

I purchased this Chandelier from another retailer over memorial day weekend at a heavily discounted sale. 70% off. The chandelier never arrived. I was told it was lost in transit and I could purchase the same chandelier but at the regular price. I cancelled the chandelier and began searching for it online. I was shocked to find it on Amazon and it was $200 less than the original online retailer I purchased from and it included prime shipping. It is beautiful and elegant and the exact right chandelier for our beach house dinning room.

Light arrived as expected. I was nervous about ordering a light like this online but it arrived in great condition. It was easy to install. The strands of shells were a little tedious to attach but it didn’t take too long to get them all up. Be sure to pay attention that you are hooking them on in the right direction so that the clean side of the “staples” are facing out. I liked that it came with extra “shells” and hooks in case any break. I have 9 ft ceilings and used 2 of the long rods on each side. It is a good height but could have possibly used the additional short bar on each side it bring it a little closer to the table. Overall, I am very pleased with this light.

Got a nicely packed box. Took 2 hours to assemble and hang. The frame that is attaches to the rods, connects under an angle, because of the poor quality of craftsmanship. When it is hanged it is UNEVEN. WHAT a WASTE of time and money. Thank you Amazon I can return it for free. Please, make sure that Chinese made goods are of American quality standards. It is a shame that Amazon sells that crap.
