URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG Compatible with LG G5 Case Feather-Light Composite [Ice] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

I'll start of by saying that I am a big fan of UAG cases. I had one for my Galaxy S3; LOVED it! Later I bought one for my sister's iPhone 4S; she LOVED it too. Ultimately I bought one for the iPhone 4S of my VERY picky fiance and guess what; she loved it too. In fact, she loved it so much that she asked me to buy her another one for her new Galaxy S7. I did and she loved that case as much or even more than the one for her older iPhone. Sadly, I cannot report that I love my latest UAG case. I bought this case for my new LG G5 phone. I started off not very excited even while ordering the case because none of the colors they made for the G5 were attractive to me. Still, I wanted the UAG case because of it's slim design, the semi-sticky (that magically manages to also be not annoyingly sticky). When it arrived it was even worse than I had anticipated. The translucent red plastic is almost feminine and in he last 3 months two of the six little black rubber plugs have fallen out (they are rubber but made to look like faux screws with star drive heads). I have no idea when or where they went missing. Does the case protect my phone? Sure. Am I excited about the looks or feel? Not at all. In comparison I used to show off my last case all the time. Anyway, the case is fine. The quality has definitely gone down from the last few cases I've ordered (well, that isn't entirely true because the case I ordered at the same time for my fiance's S7 was the same great quality and available in the awesome white/black option--looked like an accessory that should be carried by a Star Wars Storm Trooper). All I'm saying is the UAG cases for the LG G5 are nothing to get excited about.

I keep dropping my phone. Off the bed, out of my hand, I look at it and it jumps. This case works well for me. Came pretty quickly, like the shade of blue I ordered and it's been tested by the likes of me. I've dropped it a lot. It's not even scratched up which is amazing to me. It fits my LG 5, easy to put on and take off when I clean it. It also doesn't have as much dust or debris when I do clean it. Great because all types of things end up in my pockets and purse. The side grips are great and they don't hold on to your pockets when trying to put it in or pull out like the soft silicone covers. I really pleased with the quality, price, durability and color. I gave it 4 stars only because it doesn't have a kickstand yet I doubt anyone's would survive me after maybe a month.

I've used UAG cases before with previous phones, so I naturally got another UAG case for my LG G5. I find some sort of comfort knowing that this case is MIL-STD. I've used this case for over a year now and I can say this thing has seriously saved my phone from numerous drops. The worst drop was when it fell off my motorcycle going highway speeds. When I went back to get it, the phone was working fine! In fact, you couldn't really even tell it fell from a motorcycle moving at 60mph. I'm not saying that you should try it or that it's even meant for that kind of drop, but it does say something that my phone came through that unscathed. I'm still using the same case.

Uag cases are in my opinion the best cases on the market.. I started using them because they just snap on and off .. That way you can swap your battery for a fresh one if your phone permits that. They really fit nice in your hand have nice grips on the sides and are not all bulky... Like some other cases I have had. They do not have a screen protector built in which is a plus to me . I always use tempered glass anyway... The plastic screen protectors built into the cases just hold dust under them and look bad in my opinion. I think these are the best cases on the market . I have had 3 different ones and really liked them all. 5 stars ... Thank you

It's a great case, but if you're a perfectionist, there's a couple places that have a very slight gap. And if you are familiar with the LG G5s, all of them have an ever so slight bend in the frame. (I'm guessing due to the manufacturing process) This case makes that bend a lot more noticeable. If you set it on a flat surface, the phone will rock back and forth because the G5s have this tiny, barely noticeable bend, and this case makes them rock more. Overall, those are minor complaints. I still really like this case.

After a lot of research, I settled on the UAG for overall design, protection, and price point - and I'm very happy with the selection. The case isn't overly bulky. It's flexible to the point you don't feel like you're going to break it or the phone getting the case on, but fits snuggly and remains rigid. There are cut outs for all the ports and peripherals (except the external storage). The back is a little slick and may take some getting used to, but looks nice.Overall, it's a very stylish case. I just hope I never have to find out how effective it is, but so far I trust the design.

This is my 4th Uag case purchase. I have had them on my S3, S5, work iphone and now my new G5. They have protected my smart phones from many accidents. Drops on Concrete and pavement and even once my s5 was on my lap in my lifted Jeep and I forgot about it and just got out sending it falling and sliding on a parking lot. With no damage to the phone at all.This case has a tranucent design that I do like but I have concerns about how well its apearance will hold out compaired to older cases did with not showing scratches from use but I will know in time..

I found UAG cases about 3 years ago. I highly recommend them. I've dropped my phones only a handful of times. every time these cases saved my phone from what would have been catastrophic destruction in any other case.I recently purchased the LG G5. I immediately purchased a UAG case(Ash), a wet apply screen protector and a longer charge cable. When the case arrived I was pleased at first but then. I noticed some inconsistencies having owned these cases before. The plastic and rubber feels much cheaper. The plastic is very slippery feeling in the hand. The rubber is hard, and where the cutouts are it's sharp and abrasive on your fingers. while holding the case the charge port sits on your pinky, with extensive use its very uncomfortable. also above the charge port the rubber is very thin and flimsy and feels like it might tear off.

Looks good. Seems rugged and well made.

Like some of the reviews mentioned, the case had scuff marks and scratches on it. Due to the construction of the main shell, being a hard composite plastic, I would imagine the case would easily scratch and scuff in use making it look tatty after a few months..I have returned it for a refund, as I feel this case is not up to the job.

First case come after a week and was scratched inside the package before opening. Had to wait over a week for replacement. 2nd came and still has slight marks but better than the first. Had to keep it as cant wait another week to protect my phone. Feels sturdy though.

Great protection against accidental drops... beware if you drop your phone on the sreen its still gona break but if its lands on the edge, thanks for the rugged case its still in one piece. it makes the phone a bit bulkier but feels like you have more grip. imo its one of the bets cases out there

The best case that ever used. Superior quality and is the first one that perfectly fits with the curved edge glass ptotector. It is a little bit pricey than the others but totaly makes the diference. Good job. Amazing👍👍👍
