HyperX Cloud Core On-Ear Wired Gaming Headset with Mic for PC, DTS Headpone:X (Black)

Works great with PC. Didn’t use the surround feature as it dubs the bass(own preference). Works great with PS5 too. BUT, while using it with PS5 you can only consider the 3.5mm Jack. The USB doesn’t work properly, the volume is SUPER LOW and the surround feature doesn’t work without the USB. The product is super sturdy, looks good, the sound volume is perfect, I’ve been using with my PC and PS5 for gaming, listening to songs and watching movies. It’s perfect for all of the three activities. Love the bass. It’s adequate!

Sound: Better For music. - Surround sound feature is good for music listening. Bass is also good. Best for Gaming - Troubles are best. we can get great distance sound in game. Sound for Footsteps can be heard quickly. Mic: Mic has low audio producible. Decent type of noise cancellation. Build Quality: Best build quality. Feels Heavy in hand. Quite a small head band. Always I wear headphone with full extended outside.

I got these Hyper x Cloud Core 7.1 headphones and am happy with my purchase. This is my first Hyper x Product. The comfort is superb, I used them continuously for 4 hours without any discomfort and I even wear glasses. Even though the headcups aren't rotatable they don't cause an issue to comfort. The headband is a little on the shorter side, I have to extend the aluminium size adjusters to the maximum to fit my head but I do have a huge skull so it's fit your head. The sound quality is very nice, it's what you would expect from 53 mm drivers. The highs and lows, treble is up to the mark. BUT the BASE is a little disappointing, it does not have that thump behing it but seeing that it's a gaming headphone, it's suited for games. The base isn't super loud but it's enough to enjoy casual media. The noise cancellation is not very good, when you are on full audio you wouldn't be able to hear people talking next to you but if they're loud then you can clearly hear them. I think the sound could have been a little louder. I got a 3.5mm cord splitter. The default cable length of the headphone is a little more than the distance between your extended arms. But with the splitter it's very long. I didn't measure it but it's enough for you to move around is an averagely sized room i.e it's very long. You also get a DTS spatial audio subscription which I'm eager to try out. Overall these headphones are awesome, the base could have been louder but very good for gaming.

I'm writing this review after a week of use, they are really comfortable and fit perfectly on my head. The sound quality is really good, out of the box they are focused on the high's and mids the low's are adequate, there's no noise cancellation but they isolate the outside sound really well because of the their tight but comfortable fit, the mic is mediocre, coming from a redgear thunder b they are absolutely a banger, for those who are confused between the Corsair HS50, they don't come with a usb sound card but the Cloud core come with one and that enhances the sound quality by a noticeable level, the corsair hs50 are analog and the microphone on them is like a walkie-talkie, my friend uses one and the mic sound terrible in discord. The HS50 have 50mm drivers and the Cloud core have 53mm drivers which is not a lot of difference but for the slightest footsetp and movement go for the HyperX 's, they are a solid 10/10

Headphone is great, no doubt about that... detachable microphone and the hold is amazing as well as the build quality. Some tinkering with the sound softwares need to be done for a better experience yet this headphone is really great. 7.1 sound variation might confuse an individual at the start but even turning it off can be some players' preference. Mic is amazing good, doesn't detect any other voices around even if you are sitting in place with the tv or a speaker on next to you, it'll only detect your voice and that only. Honestly even I get confused when I get too much footsteps because it's not even a month I started using these and it catches every footsteps even the enemy is far.

The look of the product has degraded a lot but the comfort just increased and the sound quality is still good. Pros:- . very durable . very comfortable (even when worn for 4-6 hours continuously) cons:- . the faux leather ear cups and headband have withered over time giving the headphones a very old look. . the mic button and volume control cube is in a very awkward position. Over all a hassle-free connect and forget headphones. editing the post after 3 years of usage. .The mic has finally died and produces a static noise when speaking. .The audio is still going really strong .Overall a positive experience and would say that these headphones are extremely worth it for the price.

Lesson Learnt ⚠️ It was my first headphone, I was looking for bass as well as surround. I was very very wrong. Advice: For Music Lovers/Audiophile: If you are seeking bass just run away. Do not buy this. It has almost no bass as it is gaming headphone. Gaming headphones are terribly terrible for music in this budget range. It has "Bright" Signature Sound, means almost no bass. Treble will be high. It means it is excellent if you are aiming for Classical, Folk & Jazz music. ( Tabla is so real that you will feel it is being played just beside you ) For Gamers : You are in nice place. Comfort is top notch, audio decent for the price for gaming. Surround is good. Gimmick : 7.1 is gimmicks in most cases. Do not think . It is lie you are getting very high quality DAC. Music lovers go for something Sennheiser or Sony. Update: I still hate this headphone, wasted 6400 rupees. It has been 3 years+.

Here I am going to review Hyper x cloud core . I am using this for 2 days and I am going to tell that is this head set is good or not at this price tag . Pros : 1. Audio quality : My first experience with the audio was little bit disappointed since I use a lot of earbuds and I had put high expectations on the headset since this product is from HP(Hewlett Packkard) and it is gaming oriented .Now after 2 days I can tell that you can use this headphone for any kind of work like playing games , video calls , listening music , watching movies ,etc . i. And it provides the DTS headphone :X software subscription for 2 years which is available on windows. When I tried it , It enhanced the listening experience to nearly premium ( similar to a Beoplay H4 headset) . There it makes an impact . 2. Detachable noise cancelling microphone : It is really awesome , It is flexible and the audio clarity is good and it provides noise cancellation. 3. Build Quality : The speaker shell are built with plastic , cushions are leather foam , the frame is aluminium frame and the wires are coated with a strong fibre and the Mic is made with plastic mic and metal frame . From overall the build quality is good . 4. Comfort : The comfort is very good despite the weight ( 320 gms ) . I don’t feel pain even I use for 1-2 hours straight . 5. Platform independent : From the HP , They are assuring that it can be used to PC, Mac, Laptop, I phone, Android, PS4 and X Box. I have tried to Laptop and Android and It works . Not sure for Nintendo Switch because they didn’t provided about it . 6. mute slider and volume wheel given . You can mute your microphone and adjust your volume. CONS : 1. Pause , next and previous buttons not provided since it is a gaming oriented headset. 2. Detachable mic is necessary for talking. 3. No water resistant or IP rating. VERDICT : HP did really a good job. A wired gaming headset under RS 4500 can give experience as most of the casual headphones which are above 6000 and i believe that this headset can give a very good competition to the headsets which are between 5000-6000.or even above If you are looking for a gaming headset under this budget, it is worth buying it in 2022.

Sonido excelente, buenos bajos y buena cancelación de ruido. Son cómodos y el cable es muy largo y buena calidad. No se rompe con cualquier jalón. El micrófono es bueno en llamadas, pero si lo quieres para grabar o stream no es muy buena opción. Yo elegiría uno de piso. Ya tengo tiempo con el y funciona muy bien.

Me los recomendaron en un canal de discord otros gamers y me decidí a comprarlos. Buena calidad de sonido y buen producto. Muy contento con él después de bastantes meses de uso diario. Eso sí, las almohadillas de cuero sintético de siempre pierden sus trocitos negros en el primer verano o en los primeros 6 meses de uso (como todos los auriculares). Yo los he cambiado por unos compatibles de tela. Me gustaría que estos productos trajesen las almohadillas en tela directamente o, al menos, dieran esa opción. Yo le doy 5 estrellas a pesar de eso porque los auriculares me han parecido bastante buenos y a un precio muy razonable.

The HyperX Cloud Core headphones look great, feel great, have great sound quality, and are priced really well. For some strange reason, I couldn't get the microphone to work but as I have a separate microphone I use I didn't mind. Since the mic is removable they look clean and minimal on my desk. The 7.1 surround sound is also very good. I couldn't find many reviews of these specific headphones (HyperX Cloud Core), and the ones I did find seemed like a mixed bag, but I took a risk and I'm glad I did. They work just as well as headphones twice the price and are overall great headphones.
