Found a nail in my brand new tire. Really ruined my day, but I heard from some friends about this repair method. When I bought this product the people in the videos make it look easy. Prepping the tire was easy enough, but shoving a rope covered in tar into a 3mm hole was a humbling experience. But at the end of it all it works, saved me money, and didn't take me too long. I'd say if you have the equipment the longest it will take you is 30 minutes and some elbow grease. That was nearly a year ago as of 09/2024, and it still hold air and works beautifully. It has become a staple in my trunk repair kit.

This is similar to all of the tire patch kits I've used before. At least the reamer tool on this one can withstand the force needed to push into the tire where the one from harbor freight can't & just bends. But it's still just pita with the amount of force needed to ream it. So I had the bright idea to let a drill do the work instead. I just cut off the black plastic part with my angle grinder, popped the metal 'bit' into the drill and reamed it effortlessly within seconds. Looked online and they actually make bits like this you can buy. Wish I thought of doing this before. Other than that, it's straight forward. Annoying they don't include the knife to cut off excess cause even the HF one includes that but not a big deal.

I like the heavier made tools. The kit works flawlessly but the plugs are less to be desired. Plugged two different tires now and both leak through the center of the core of the plug. Nice kit though!

I bought this kit to go along with my portable battery powered airpump for long motorcycle rides. Plug kits and pumps have saved my bacon several times when far from civilization. They are also way cheaper than trying to wait or arrange a tow truck or buddy with a truck.Kit seems well made, its not the best but its pretty good

I've plugged around 10 tires over the last few years and have had no failures. I don't even bother with the glue. Works great

Great kit to have in the trunk especially for anyone who does not have a spare tire. Easy to follow instructions and make a repair yourself. I successfully plugged a hole left by a large screw that penetrated my tire in 10 minutes. 8-months later and still holding. Saved myself over $300 from having to buy a new tire. Make sure you have a portable air compressor as well which are also very inexpensive and plug into cigarette lighter slot.

No frills kit with eight strings in two different lengths. You'll need to provide your own pliers for extracting the puncture object, and a case to keep everything in.

Better sealing efficiency than other brands I’ve had cause to use ….great quality reamer and string application…so it’s even more very disappointing that this kit is no longer readily available ! Aaaaagh
