Pretty much perfect!I love the color combo, black with reddish pink zipper. Lightweight but warm. Well made. Good size zippered pockets. I can wear it over a sweater and also under another jacket! :D

I always s feel dumb purchasing winter gear since my climate typically experiences like 3 weeks of below 50° F weather, so a vest seemed perfect! We actually had snow and power outages for the first time in like 30 years and this vest really helped me keep my core warm and still feel mobile and not like a marshmallow inside my home! If you're s noob to winter too, then I can vouch that this is a great vest! Its also so lightweight and the zipper worked like a normal one! The contrast color looked cool too!I'm a girl without much hips or butt, and I have a bit of belly so if you're very curvy, I'd buy off of the hip measurement though! Just a suggestion.

I ordered vest and the hybrid running jacket in XL, to accommodate my chest. I bought these to replace some older gear that I wear while hiking in the winter, as well as other outdoor activities. Both arrived today. First let me say that I am very impressed with the quality of both the vest and the jacket. The vest is a beautiful bright pink- it is neither too bulky, nor too thin for typical outdoor activities. I really like that it is a bit longer than most similar vests, but is is not long enough to cover my rear (I am 5'1''). The side pockets are zippered and roomy. All of the zippers seem to be good quality. Now I come to the issue, and huge disappointment. I couldn't close it, or even bring the two sides of the zipper to touch, whereas the jacket from the same manufacturer was much more roomy and I could close it. I understand that these are two different items, with different cuts, but the difference was very significant. I have other vests in L and XL and I am able to close them, so something seems off about the sizing of this one. I am so sad to have to return this item, as I love it in every other aspect, and it doesn't come in larger sizes than XL.

Really nice vest. Lots of details. Red zipper and trim. Not too heavy or boxy. Plenty long for me—I’m 5’9” 185lb. I ordered large which would be too tight if I were zipping it up over clothes. But I don’t plan on zipping it up so it’s fine.

My wife really likes the material and look. However, it does run on the small size. She normally wears a large; however, this is smaller than an average large. Unfortunately there's no option for "exchange for different size." Bought it on Black Friday. Return and repurchase does not grant black Friday price.

I have purchased 3 or these during the past year, and I wear them constantly because the fit is perfect for active wear--not too tight, not too loose. They are water-resistant and very breathable, with just enough insulation to keep you warm while you are moving. They are excellent for hiking. I wear one under a lightweight, waterproof jacket in cool and/or rainy weather. They are excellent for layering; once I start to warm up, I simply peel off the jacket and the vest over a lightweight wool top is perfect. I also like the high collar for warmth and the pockets, which hold gloves, keys, etc. Highly recommended.

Fits really well. The construction and material are excellent. It’s one of the first women’s specific items I’ve ever purchased in the outdoor genre that is actually better than the men’s. Usually men’s pants shirts jackets are always better than the women’s, but this one is better than my husbands. Love it. It’s warm and not bulky.
