As promised, I'm changing the rating from a 1 star to a 5 star for these spoons... There are heavy duty and good quality!! There are nice size serving spoons!! Had ordered this set of 6 spoons, only to receive 1 (one) spoon. "Thunder Group" promptly sent me the remaining set of the spoons!! Thank You!!

The spoon is a very odd shape. The proportion of handle-to-spoon is equal. Meaning the spoon part is 5" and the handle is 5". The spoon is more of a paddle shape, almost 3" across and is more flat than it is scooped. I dare say I could almost use as a ping pong paddle, that's the proportion I'm trying to describe. It is a niche spoon, and would be one of those finds where I say it's perfect for it's use. Maybe something like mashed potatoes, or a denser stuffing, that would normally stick to a more scooped spoon surface. But the serving dish would have to be more towards a round shape vs. an oval. And not too deep as the handle is only the 5". I happen to like more traditionally shaped spoons and have been searching for some to round out my holiday serving pieces. I will say that the quality is great, almost a brushed stainless, and has nice weight to it, making it feel more high-end. I am returning as they are not what I was looking for, but if you like eclectic, these would be for you. (Editing review to add, after surfing around, they look like the paddles you might use to serve sticky-rice you made in a rice cooker.)

These are a bit short, but decent quality and get the job done. Not bad for the price. Strong enough to hold up to normal use.

Flimsy... poor quality, two were defective.. would not recommend

These are very large, yet shallow spoons. If you want to toss salad with them, they would be fine for that. If you put them in a regular size serving bowl with a vegetable in it, the vegetable will be gone after three people go through with these spoons. They are not at all the same size that comes with your normal flatware. I returned these.

Great serving spoons. Nice and big, classy, simple but different than a standard spoon. Great deal.

Big spoons. The bowl is big enough to scoop a whole portion of whatever you put it into. We used 14 of these in our chafing dishes at the family Christmas dinner. They are beautifully plain, sleek, very shiny, long-handled, and on the heavy side - not light and cheap. Very nice for the money!
