Exactly what I needed
I bought this to replace a collapsible rubber pan that kept getting moldy. This pan is so much better. It has legs that are high enough to keep water from sitting under it to cause mold and gunk residue. It's fairly lightweight but the hard material makes it feels sturdy. The drain works perfectly - no leaks- and is easy to click open or closed. The size is generous enough for most of my pots and pans. It's a thoughtfully designed dishpan that makes my dishwashing a little less of a chore.

Best Wash Tub Ever!
I am extremely happy with this wash tub. Why? It's sturdy. It doesn't stain. It's perfectly made to be able to clean it easily. It has carrying handles. The underside design lifts it from the sink so that there's less space to get soiled. The drain cover twists on and off easily, and water doesn't leak. The design is so well thought-out. I love it!

Perfect and cute!
Functional, great quality, lightweight. I got this for my van conversion. First I got the stone/sage color because I don’t like bright colors but it was too drab so I sent it back and ordered the white. I was thrilled to find that is not NOT a stark cool white but a wonderful creamy white, and the stopper is a rich, clean new grass green. I am super happy!!

Strong construction. Cool design. Stays clean.
UPDATE May 2020. I've used this dish pan exclusively for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. It absolutely will not stain or break!Very strong construction. Heavy plastic. You can use the handles with confidence. The plastic has a hard finish so it doesn't scratch or collect stains the way other dish pans do. After each usage it looks brand new.Pros:o Strong heavy constructiono Hard finish that doesn't stain and is scratch resistanto The drain plug/strainer easy to remove with a quarter turn.o Drains very quickly out the bottom. I like this feature even more than I expected. Clean, neat, no gross splashing of gray waterCons:o Modest capacity. This is not as wide or deep as many standard dishpans. You can stack dinner plates but you might have trouble submerging your large skilleto I cannot get this to snug up against one side of the sink quite as closely as I can a tradition rubbermaid dishpan. The legs don't match the curvature of the sink bottom like a traditional pan.

Helps reduce water usage in drought affected California.
I have a white one and a green one. They fit nicely stacked under my sink when not in use. They fit side by side in my sink.I'm under water rationing. I use these to wash dishes by hand with less water. First of all, they are smaller than my sink, so I don't need as much water to get to any depth. Second, I run the hot water into the designated rinse bucket until the water is hot enough to wash dishes. Then I already have a bucket half filled with water for rinsing. Third, I can then take the rinse bucket to my garden and water my roses.I've also used these to defrost frozen meat. Weight the watertight-wrapped frozen meat down with a heavier dish and cover with cold water. Again, uses less water than if I did this in the sink, and I can reuse the water.Another water saving tip: Before starting the dishwasher, run the hot water into a bucket until hot. Use the saved water for some other purpose. Now the dishwasher will take less energy to bring the water up to dishwashing temp.OK, that's enough hippie-granola-loving-California-stuff for now. I'll go hug a tree later...Also nice that you can soak dishes and not take up sink space. Just lift it out of the sink and put it on the counterThe drain feature is convenient, filters out larger items when draining. On my white bucket (which has a green drain plug) part of the drain plug has chipped off, but it still works and holds water. I don't remember seeing this when I received the item, nor do I remember breaking it myself. I'm slightly disappointed, but like I said, it still holds water.I wish these were dishwasher (even top rack) safe. Then when it gets all greasy (like when my husband uses it to wash the deep-fryer basket (See, we don't just love granola, we love all foods equally (not true).)) I could throw it in the dishwasher instead of having to wash it by hand.

Surprised Me
I did not plan to use this in my kitchen sink. I had planned to use it to soak items for laundry purposes. So much so, that I ordered a collapsible basin at the same time, to use for dishes. This basin arrived first so I decided to try it out in the kitchen sink. Well, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I don't have a large sink and this fit perfectly. I like the idea of the drain and handles. It is sturdy and holds water to soak dishes and/or pots and pans if needed. My son came home for the weekend and happened to see it. He was also impressed. He thought the drain was a great idea as it keeps the sink cleaner. I plan to buy 2 more as gifts for a couple of people I know. I'm very happy that I purchased this!9/10/2020 I just purchased my third one as a gift. I had a couple of guests here for the weekend and they liked the way the basin drained. They also commented on the handles. Thanks to 2 day shipping, I was able to have one sent to me and gave it to them before they left for home.

Useful for community kitchens in college
Super handy to use during my time in college dorms. We had a community kitchen, and I had brought my own dishes and silverware. But there was only one sink so I anticipated it often being full, which led me to buying this. I placed my dirty dishes in it, carried it to the sink to wash them–you can just do a quick rinse of the sink if it's empty, place your tub in, wash and rinse, and then simply carry it back. Easy to clean.
