Why SyneticUSAI sold my previous Ram Laramie 2016 with a Gator Trax retractable. It still worked, but the slide was starting to drag somewhat. Not what I expected for a 3 year old product.I bought a 2020 Built to Serve Ram and I needed a retractable for a variety of reasons. I researched, shopped, and wore out the internet looking for something I thought would be better than the Gator Trax. Better meaning quality AND price. Most retractables start around 1,000 dollars and go up to way off of my scale of worth.I came across the SyneticUSA on amazon. Price was lowest of any retractable I came across. That certainly made me nervous, but saw I could return it. So I ordered.Opening of Box ImpressionsWell packaged, instructions better than last retractable I owned. Top is solid aluminum slats, nicely finished. Four drain tubes over most that offer two, lots of rubber and foam gaskets to seal out water. Even extra wide foam strip in case tailgate didn't seal perfectly. Really looked like a quality product.AssemblyInstall took me one hour, but I did have a little experience from previous retractable. Instructions we readable, and all of my pieces fit together well. I did entire job myself, but would recommend two people for the process of lifting and setting on the truck bed and positioned. Manufacturer went the extra step of providing some extra parts for areas where you might experience wear and tear (locking assembly).Misc.I had read in the 5th gen Ram forum that while the entire unit was black, four bolts that hold down the rollback cover were silver. Mine were as well, but with a little left over hi temp flat black I had for the BBQ, I sprayed them waited an hour and installed. They look great!I had also read that the two locks for the top have separate keys. The manufacturer even responded to an FAQ stating the computer design program gave unique keys to all locks. HOWEVER, they may have fixed that as my two keys were the same and worked in both locksImpressionThe unit has only been on the truck two weeks. So far, very impressed and really happy with it. Looks great and matches the flat black on my truck perfectly. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I have not experienced rainy weather yet, but will update when that happens.I will update this with photos shortly (dark outside) as well as after using it for a while.I would recommend this product.

The seller of this product is phenomenal. Good customer service is so rare and it is so refreshing to get it. The bed cover is really nice. I don't know much about them, but it looks good and functions as expected. It fits the 2022 Ram TRX perfectly. The only con is that it takes a long time to install... or at least it seemed so by how long it took my husband. Took him about 2.5 hours. I don't know though, maybe that was the normal amount of time it should take. We needed a replacement for one of the locks and the seller was so responsive and attentive. They sent another one right away. Great product, great price, AWESOME customer service

I had one of these on a 2018 Ram LoneStar for years and absolutely loved it, so buying a new one when I upgraded to a '24 Rebel was a no brainer. Installation is much easier if you have a second person, so grab a friend and get some quality time in. Directions are really straight forward imo - Granted, we had done this before, but it took two of us a little over an hour to assemble and attach.I drive all over the country with a full bed, and my last cover had about 18k miles through all kinds of conditions with no issues. In the month I've had this cover, we've gone about 1,000 miles through blizzards, sand storms, and 70mph crosswinds in mountain passes (seriously the weather has been brutal lately) and it's still looking brand new. The locks have already been "tested" by a random person in the middle of the night, but they weren't able to crack them.I love this cover, would absolutely recommend it

One of best priced retractables I could find and was worried it would be cheap. However, it is well made and pretty solid. Only complaints are came with a small dent in shipping, sits a little higher off bed than desired, and doesn't retract all the way in. Haven't been able to test waterproofing and I have my concerns around the tailgate section. Will try to update review on that later along with durability. Other than those things, does the job and looks nice.

I was a little skeptic about the product as I was not sure how it would fit and look in my RAM 1500 Rebel. i have to say that I extremely pleased with the look, versatility and the quality. The installation was super easy, it took me about 35 minutes. You definitely need a second person to help you position it on the truck bed. It looks like it belongs on the truck and is super easy and convenient to use. I only have two negative aspects that I think the manufacturer should improve:1. Make the top screws black to match the cargo finish2. Remove the outside latches and key and place them in the inside, so the cover can be locked just by closing the gate. I fund it a little annoying that I have to carry a key around to lock it or unlock it.Aside from those two little issues I find with the product I still give it a 5 star rating!!!

I was skeptical with the price of this cover as compared to others, but the materials are high quality. Cover came packaged well with no shipping damage. Instructions were clear and included QR code that linked to a good quality installation video. I installed myself (no previous experience) in a couple of hours without problems. Cover slides easily and you can lock it in place anywhere along it’s travel. Did not test for waterproof claim - but included an entire roll of foam tape to troubleshoot problem areas. Only thing I changed was to swap silver cover bolts and washers for black to match the cover. Not a big deal but should have been a black set since you can see them on the outside. If you’re considering, just buy it.
