I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this as most of the marketing photos show the hat worn with a floppy bit at the top and I prefer a beanie tight on my head. In fact the hat can easily be worth both ways depending on how far you pull it down and how much of the hem you fold over. Either way it is soft, warm and comfortable so far (1 week) with no sign of the bobbling mentioned in some reviews. If the yarn does start to bobble, which I know is really irritating, I will update this review at a later date. In the meantime, though, I'm very happy with it and would recommend.2 months later: The hat is still great, comfortable, warm but not excessively so. Good wicking qualities and a great buy. However, I bought another one in a different colour and - although these are all "one size" it was noticeably bigger than my first hat. Too big in fact and unfortunately I had to send it back. I will try again one of these days, and it would be great if Danish Endurance would make these in a few more colours - perhaps a dark green and dark brown.

Quality made hat from quality wool. Very warm and well fitting. Ideal for upland outdoors. It also looks smart.

Given the cost, I was expecting something a bit thicker and with a lining in it. This isn't thick and doesn't have a liner. BUT it is actually very comfortable and surprisingly warm. Fits my big head quite well, and it seems really high quality too. The materials are good and the stitching seems solid. I have washed it a few times now as well and it hasn't lost it's colour. It is my favourite winter beanie now. I will buy another if I ever lose this one.

I recently purchased the Danish Endurance merino wool grey beanie and I was very impressed with the quality and great fit, it was a very reasonable price and it offers great warmth in the the winter. I would highly recommend Danish Endurance beanie’s to anyone interested in buying a great value and quality beanie.

Love it ! I can also tuck in any excess hat easily at the back so that I don't end up having that pixie look. Warm too and not as itchy as all the other hats I've bought over the many years. Feels light when wearing it. Would recommend. Well worth the money.

Item not very warm,otherwise the item is fine .Good fit ,colour as shown in the ad.

I like putting it on and hate taking it off. Also I think it makes me stylish.The wool is nice but is starting to fray a bit after washing, oh well.

Beautiful and soft very cosy. Perfect to wear autumn/spring . Very good quality yarn.
