Soo yummy! I love that it's caffeine free since I'm sensitive to caffeine. But, I can still enjoy delicious Chai! 😋

I originally sampled Numi teas because their tea bags are plant based and free of plastic. As someone who is looking to reduce plastics in my life, especially those that are in contact with my hot food and beverages this appealed to me (for those times when I didn’t use a loose leaf tea). The USDA Organic and fair trade certifications of the Numi teas made them even more appealing to me. I was looking for some good decaffeinated tea options for drinking as iced tea with dinner and sipping hot after dinner. The Rooibos Chai Tea does not disappoint. I brew it as directed if drinking hot tea, and brew it longer with 3 tea bags if making a pitcher of iced tea. It’s a good mellow tea flavor (not like other Rooibos teas I have tried and didn’t quite enjoy) with the cinnamon and allspice aroma and flavor very detectable in the brew. I don’t taste the ginger so much. I do sweeten it sometimes with a spoon of honey for hot tea or a beet sugar with the iced version. Even my husband likes this as a hot tea and he doesn’t really like any other hot tea flavors. It also makes a nice chai tea latte.

The flavor of this tea is good! Just a different taste, but it’s good! I read how healthy this tea is so I enjoyed it even better! Will buy again!

Just absolutely the best tea in the world. I drink it all throughout the day, anytime of day, hot or cold. When I prepare it cold, I prepare a large ceramic pitcher of it with hot water with teabags, and then throw a whole bunch of ice in. Guests love it, and know it will always be an option when they come over. When I prepare it hot for just me, I make sure I use one of my smallest tea cups, as I like it strong and flavorful. Anyone who doesn’t really like strong, aromatic tea (that is still caffeine-free, which usually doesn’t have much flavor) — this isn’t for you.

This is a great cup of tea. It is organic which is fantastic, but it is my all time favorite tea to drink before bed, especially on a cold night just because it is so darn good. It is a really nicely balanced chai with clove, ginger and cinnamon and other spices. The only slight negative is that the bags on the rooibos chai seem to break easier than the other Numi teas. Even with that slight negative it still earns five stars in my opinion.

A long time favorite of mine! Goes great with dunking biscuits or having a slightly spiced warm drink. I always keep a box on hand.
